i was wondering if anyone had some good benzo stories (that they can remember)
my last time with xanax was during a bout 3 days of non stop drinking when the red sox won the world series (i live 20 mins. from boston) and i had a handful of bars, well i ate a few of them and ended up shooting at some people at 7-11, kicking in the side of this guys car, and dragged him out and beat his ass at grampy's (a different convenience store about 2 hours later), topping off the night by getting pulled over entering my driveway because i passed my house, slammed it in reverse and almost smashed into the cop that was following me (didnt realize he was there, i had heavily tinted windows at the time and it was late at night), continued to mouth off to the cops, ended up with a fat lip and a broken tooth (they slammed my head into the car and pavement), continued to talk shit in the station where the proceeded to strip me down and search me where they found a decent amount of coke and a bag of xanax in my shoe (if i was smart i wouldve got away with just getting charged with smoking weed in the car because they found a roach).
well 2 years later, with plenty of probation violations and 3 months of jail time, im still here and i havent touch that evil xanax since, maybe a valium every once in a while to mix with my oxy's (helps me get a decent nod) - but never again will i touch that evil xanax
moral of the story - dont drink and eat benzos - just thought id share that
oh yeah one more thing, im posting this and im going to a detox today, i told my p.o. i had a drug problem (as to why i can never pass a drug test) and they agreed that i can check into an inpatient place instead of going to jail - its my first time - does any one know if theyll keep me hopped up on drugs while im coming off the pills?? thanks.

Not me Pillentrepreneur.Says that he got twisted and started I quote "shooting at people in the 7-11".Which struck me as slightly disturbing.
How many did I eat? well this is ironic after 15 years of daily benzo use I've just stopped and I'm still suffering.

I don't have any horror stories like you. A friend had given me broken up pieces of a bar so I could sleep while coming off H the first time. I don't remember how much I took but I think I spaced about a bar and a half over 3 days and it never really did shit for me. So I thought eh, this stuff isnt that good. Well when school started up I bought a bar and popped it during first period, thinking maybe I'd get a light buzz for the morning. By third period I was trying to prop my head up with my arm but it kept falling off and I'd wake up just before hitting the desk. I looked around at all the weird stares I was getting. Then I guess at lunch I tried to pick up on this girl in the parking lot, I don't really know my friends had to tell me everything I did that day. Wasn't that bad, I just wasn't expecting a bar to do that much. Now I just take about the equivalent of half a bar with opiates for an added kick.

opies dont put me out any more like a good bar will. I do have a horror storie though my little brother
died doing methadone and zanax he oded but that wasnt the drugs fault. It was the people he was with who were to scared to call 911 before they left him there to die. shitless coward son of a bitches

Oh man the ramones gig was a total fuck up.I went bought tickets,got there early but I was soo fucked up I started leaning against a piller.Then I thought I'd sit down,then I thought I'd lie down and get comfy.I was so comfy I thought ah I'll rest my eyes for a minute.Next thing I know a cleaner is pushing a broom into my ribcage and shouting "it's finished go home".What a heartbreaker.
On the plus side I managed to stay awake through several other Ramones gigs and on the real plus side I survived.One of my close friends OD at a Sonic youth gig.

SWIM had 2 grand mal seizures when his dumbass stopped taking xanax cold turkey about 3 years ago. He was taking about 5-6mg's per day for about 6 months.

I am proud to say I have nothing but good experiences with my clones/kpins. :p Except that ONE time my sister and I went shopping real fucked up on hydro and clones and I came home with a brand new furniture set I couldn't afford and didn't need. LOL :cool: But seriously I tolerate benzos WELL. I really enjoy sedation at all times.

Yeah, there's more than a few. I think the worst so far is the time I drove through someone's lawn or feild or a median or something... don't even remember driving, don't remember much about anything that day other than dosing. Normally I wouldn't drive when mixing benzos and Opaites, don't know what the fuck I was thinking. For all I know I was doing donuts in some poor saps lawn or fell asleep and drove off the road... I'm lucky I didn't hit somebody (I did check the car for hair and blood) or total my car.

Oh yeah, waking up somewhere and not remembering how the hell you got there is always a blast too isn't it? I once woke up in a house that I didn't recognize at all... that's an odd feeling. Turned out to be my ex's brother (whom I had only breifly spoken with up until that point). So why the hell was I sleeping on his couch? Fuck if I know man, and I was too embarassed to ask. We had breakfast and it wasn't too akward so I couldn't have made too much of an ass of myself, or he was just being polite, either way no one ever said anything about it to me.

I had gone through hell WD from done . After 5 day/nights of no sleep, I went to done doctor and threatened to shoot Dilaudid even I didn't get some sleep. He said he couldn't give me anything because I would abuse it. Fucker. So I went to a regular Doctor and said I can;t sleep because I stopped taking Methadone and he gave me 90 Xanax. 4 a day prescription . One day, in a experimental mood , I took 10 at once. I remember driving down the highway when the crash woke me. I had hit a sign and punched out the radiator. I got out of the car and magically another car stopped and I got a ride. The next morning I was at home in bed. The phone rang. It was a store saying I had left my wallet there. I asked if it had any money in it. They said yeah $435 cash. I asked what I had been trying to purchase. They said a shotgun. Got the wallet back but the car was arrested and I had to bail it out. Lucky I didn't get a shot gun that night somebody was goning be hurting.

I wouldn't call this a horror story, but the first time I took Xanax ever, I took a whole bar and quickly learned it was a mistake. At the time, I had no experience with benzos whatsoever. Within an hour I got really tired and intened to lay down my head for a second, and the next thing I remembered was waking really late up the next morning, having slept through the alarm, and I COULD NOT move. I literally could not move any muscle, and I tried to get out of bed but couldn't walk, so I gave up and went back to sleep. I wasn't alarmed by this but was pissed that my first benzo experience was so shitty. Plus, I ended up missing a whole day of classes, and it was only like the 2nd day of class of the semester, so I felt like an idiot.

There was an old discussion like this about k-pins. I was on them for a while, couple years and I dont remember a large chunk of time due to it. An old member here named Paisan said it best. " I woke up in the back yard naked next to a fat chick covered in whip cream saying 'whats that smell?'"

Hahaha, IMO you haven't lived until that's happened atleast once. I mean come on, life experience and all... that is a story to tell the grandkid's through sips of whiskey if I ever heard one.
I don't have any horror stories about Xanax because every time I take enough of them to get stupid I don't remember shit about it. I have an extremely high tolerance to benzos. I can take 3 of the big suckers and not get too jacked up but if I add alchohol to the equation, even a little bit, shit gets nasty. I pop some bars, feel a little loose and slow, then drink some and I start getting agitated and whoever is around me becomes a target. Even if you're my best friend I'll think of you owing me 20 bucks from a year ago and end up kicking your ass over it. Then when I wake up everyone hates me and I have no clue why, so yeah, I don't do Xanax for rec anymore.

Sorry I'm a bit late here Antony.Iknow,I know I'm a fuck up.The sonic youth gig was 1989-90 in Manchester,with Mudhoney supporting.The bass player from Mudhoney stepped on my foot and nearly broke it,the bastard. Still fine it was a fine rock n roll concert.
