Tianeptine is an antidepressant and anxiolytic that has the opposite effect to SSRI's i.e. instead of ihibiting reuptake of serotonin it accelerates it. Tianeptine also works more quickly. It affects the same receptors that cocaine does and some ppl report a slight buzz from tianeptine.

My doctor refused to prescribe anything for me so, after waiting a few more weeks and still feeling low, I decided to order some off of the internet. I chose tianeptine because ppl were saying they were good and didn't get bad side effects. Today is the sixth day I've taken them and so far haven't had any problems, nor did I get the buzz from taking them. I did notice an interesting effect though. A couple of days ago I had toothache and took two paramol (7.46mg dihydrocodeine and 500mg paracetamol/acetaminophen each.) Normally I wouldn't have noticed any intoxicating effects and it was only about 3 days since I'd previously taken them but I was nearly floored! Today I had the toothache again (ugh! dentist time :( ) and the same thing happened.

Previously I've taken amphetamines for a few days and then taken low dose opiates and had a stronger than normal effect but nothing like this.
