When tripping I have always found it...I dont know....counter-intuitive?? (might be the wrong word but im going with it) to the effects of hallucinagens. It always amazes me when people talk about watching Fear and loathing or any movie while their tripping. I rarely can remain indoors when tripping so to sit in front of a television for any reason is just beyond me. Music I can definately do but otherwise i need trees and mud and stars and the dark night.
Dont make any assumptions based on the tree and mud comment in the way of me being a hippie or the likes. Im no hippie.

I'm with you there Opi, although I'm not usually the outdoors type unless it's sunrise. I always preferred a pitch black room for the visuals to manifest with some nice trance music pumping for them to go along to. Some animation is good in the background sometimes, but it does distract you from the whole experience IMO.

I agree that if youre tripping, its interesting to see something youre used to, like a moonlit night, and how it changes. You have something to familiar to compare your changes to. But on THIS occasion, in this thread. I'm referring to trip enhancers like EBN. I know it seems like its "cheating" but it's fun for me. I'm all for enhancement. be it a blacklight or trance etc,

I thought the video was cool in a sober state (well, on opiates but that doesn't count).
But like Opiyum I don't usually take to this kinda stuff while actually on psychedelics. I like looking at things that are otherwise not very trippy, that are just there, and seeing how they change. I don't think its "cheating" to watch something like this but as Opi said, the night sky with stars is quite the sight. I remember lying on my back in this baseball field as the mushrooms started kicking in, seeing the stars glow different colors with a huge intricate spiderweb sort of structure connecting them all.... ah, good times.
