Has anyone ever tried this? I did it on accident not knowing I was getting benzos that night and taking diph earlier. Shit I blacked out on a dose of K-pins that shouldn't have made me black out. Maybe I'll try it again with a lower dose of K-pins.

Well im sure the dip. enhanced that effect of the benzo (made it alot stronger) and if you have a lower tolerance i can see that happening...it wouldnt have done that to me but i have a pretty big benzo tolerance (im scripted 90 2 mg ones a month and im SUPPOSED to take 3 times a day)
Always be careful mixing benzos with other cns depressants esp if your not used to them already!

I have what I believe is a large tolerance when I got my 90 K-pins I took 39 mgs in one night. And I've taken 30 mgs of Xanax in one day before and somehow managed to stay awake until 6 AM. Good times.

Good thing you're alive is more like it. Why would you want or need to take such a ridiculous dose of a benzo? Makes you look pretty dumb by threatening your life like that in my book.

No shit.... 2 milligrams of Clonazepam would knock my ass out. I've heard of tolerance, but come on!

It's not ajust atolerance it's tolerance + high axiety + the compulsive nature of gobbling up benzos. Considering that I don't use other drugs with benzos it wasn't threating my life at all benzos have never killed anyone by themselves. And from any known LD 50's of Klonopin alone the only thing I saw said >2000 mgs so it's not that amazing I'm alive.

Well, actually a few have died from taking too many benzos. Remember anything is possible. 39mgs is a huge dose of Klonopins, I believe that is what you took. But even with a huge tolerance, one might experience some amnesic effects, problems with coordination, drownsiness.
You do see overdoses that happen from a combination of more than one CNS depressant, but benzos alone can do the job. Take enough of anything and you can die. Once had a guy come through the ER who took too many Flexeril and died.
Hell, take too many Benadryl and you can die!

Diphenhydramine in more commonly packed and sold under the trade name Benadryl™, it contains 25mg. Mainly a histamine blocker, it's also added to otc "PM" medicines and is the only "active ingredient" in otc sleep aids like Sominex, Nytol.
I've been taking "bennies" for about 20yrs...If you're not used to this medication you want to start small and go from there until you know where your tolerance lies and gauge your dose accordingly.
Just BE CAREFUL where you point that thing!
In my case, at first they totally relaxed me and made me more sleepy when that what I'm used to during any morphine/oxy session. If you take enough of them [subjective] you'll get a slightly harsher buzz that wears you down after 12 hours or so. With slightly flattened dose/response curve. The feeling is kinda like mixing Methadone with Phenergan-GREAT boost, prolonged the glow. In other words they were made for eachother :) Hope this was helpful

Back in my expiramental days I took 3 ambien along with some anti-histamine, which i presume was Diphenhydramine, that was supposed to make it like I took 6 ambien. I remember haveing a few rum and cokes after that and the next thing I know I am wakeing up the next moring at home. I had no idea what had ensued the night before until my mom told me that when I got home I crawled around the house on my hands and knees for about an hour yelling at the walls and then proceeded to open the fridge and tell my buddy Cory to "get the hell out of there because it is too cold for you in the refrigerator." To make a long story short three days later I was awoken at 6am by two of the biggest men I have ever seen. They cuffed me put me in the back of a car and took me to rehab in Mexico. I guess I really freaked my poor mom out. Goddamn motherfucking ambien, it is bad enough by itself, but combine it with Diphenhydramine and it is brutal.

Well I know it's possible. But from what I've heard unless you take amounts that seem like wouldn't even be able to be swallowed the worst that can happen is a coma. With benzos alone I mean and not saying a coma is good or anything. But when I read LD 50's for Klonopin and other benzos they were outrageous and most of the time not even set just hat + and a number.

Too many benadryl and you'd wish you were dead. All the voices that you can't understand talking non stop for 48 hours ... if you've never taken too many benadryl ... DON'T !!!

What dv said there is true, in my experience. Diphenhydramine can be a very weird substance.
However, I sometimes take diphen and Klonopin together (1-2 mg of k-pin). I don't do it often, because I'm so fucking scared of building up a tolerance and being unable to ever sleep again. (I need to mention, though, that I have been using Klonopin for many years.) Also, the next day, I am dizzy and have that yucky hung over feeling. I don't have a good intuition about taking the two together, honestly.

The diphenhydramine potentiated the sedative effects of the klonopin. If you blacked out, why would you ever want to try that combo again, even at a lower dose? Maybe you like blackouts, but I hate them with a passion. I wake up feeling worse than a hangover. Most of it's pschologically, because I have no idea what I did. I feel soiled, dirty, gross, pathetic, etc. The worst was in 2002 when the doctor at my college gave me a script for Ambien, which I really needed because I couldn't sleep. I got the script on a Friday, and on that Saturday, I was invited to go to an off-campus party. A group of upperclassmen always rent this one house in town, and they always have kick-ass parties. So I went with my friend allison and her friends. Well, I had taken 2 of the 10mg pills before I left. The thing I noticed about Ambien, was that they didn't really make me sleepy, like I thought they would. They just sort of erased my mind. Made it very difficult to think / concentrate. You know how you lie awake at night worrying. I think that's why it's like that, it prevents you from worrying and thereby allowing you to sleep. Anway, at the party, I had my bottle of Ambien because I was going to trade some for some weed. Well, allison was drinking everclear, and gave me some. The next thing I remember was waking up in the ER with my sister and brother-in-law at my side with Allison. Apparently I blacked out, started dancing on tables, annoying people, then I started to hit on this guy. God it was so embarassing. Apparently I threw up on him and they called the ambulance, and of course police came. My sister said that in the hospital I kept telling the cop that I was going to seduce him. And when he said he could arrest me, I started to invoke the goddess Diana. In the end I was fine and didn't get into any trouble, but try walking back into classes the next Monday when the ENTIRE campus is talking about you. That was the last time I took Ambien, and I'll never take it again.
Edit: Let me just say that I don't blame the Ambien for this incident, I blame myself. I knew better than to mix a hypnotic and alcohol, but I just didn't care. That period in my life was a really really shitty one. Again, it's not the Ambien's fault. When I say that I wouldn't take Ambien ever again, what I meant was that I wouldn't take it or another benzo / hypnotic by themselves to such an extent that I would black out, and that I would certainly never combine them with alcohol or another CNS, as that would also lead to a blackout.

I say/do weird things on benzos alone so I know what that's like. I also do not make a habit of doing benzos around others because of this and it sucks because it makes me very social but I can't do it. I really do not care about losing consciousness I guess.
