The above is a widely studied class of opioids. Example 2 is around x 500 morphine in potency. The question is - would they be considered analogues under the CsA act? Of course, one would expect the N-(2-furanylethyl) analogue to be still stronger...

They appear to be legal but they are a bit of a pain to make. I think they are interesting because if you overlay them with ketobemidone - they do so very well - I guess that is why the =O & =CH2 are the strong ones.

If you want legal then almost any phenolic opioid can have the -OH replaced with a -CONH2 and keep the same activity (and duration goes up a huge amount - the M analogue lasts 14 hours or more).

I'm not getting more into the simpler but unusual opioids. AH-7921 was a washout but there are some sneaky nortilidine analogues that seem about x10M (and are legal).
