I do believe it has been released (the website said June 2006) but I don't know if any doctors are prescribing it yet...I do know that if doctors start overprescribing it like they did with OxyContin, that it will easily become the next OxyContin. Demonized and criticized for getting people addicted.

I can't wait to get my hands on some. Can anybody tell me what the name of that Sufentanil patch will be now that we're on the topic of recent or soon to be released opiates?

yup, theres a whole thread about trying to defeat the gel-action it has built in....so far no luck.
