is that the one that has the hash bar that you can smoke in still? I just saw that place on the G4tv special they just did for 4:20. They were smoking inside but it could have just been for the show, but they guy was saying something about them being the only ones allowed to smoke on site, but that could have been in the past. They are always making new laws, especally in LA.

Also, vinice and malabu and places like that are SOOOOOO expensive. My reccomendation is be willing to spend the extra $$$ and get something great. Some places do have budfor $45 but it is not good, if you get the $65 an eighth stuff, it is a HUGE hit to the wallet but you are getting the TOP TOP TOP notch stuff. You get what you pay for at the fair places. There are plenty of places in the valley that are capped at $45 an eight and are GREAT meds that are on the level of the $65 stuff at the more touristy places.

there are growers too that go to the touristy places to sell their goods tho too because they know that those clubs will pay $4000+ a pound where other places, (dispensarys) wont pay more than 3-3200$ a p so the heady stuff goes to the dispensarys that have the clientele to charge their sick patients $65-$80 and eighth. Dont get me started on that. Taxing the sick is BS.

That is one good thing about living in KY...If you are a pot smoker, you don't have to empty your wallet out for quality bud...For excellent quality (right there with medical grade in my book), an eighth is no more than $35, and oz. for around $250...Pharms on the other hand is a diff. story.

I couldn't imagine paying $120 or more for a quarter bag of bud...

its always who you know. but is that really the going rate in KY? Seems close to the prices we get here in CA... well 1/4s are more like 90$ standard, but i seen em go for 120+$ before

when I opened my shop in CO last year, it was $50 1/8th ... now, there are so many shops I let 'em go at $25 1/8th and move most of it now out of state.... I also gave up on trying to 'play by the rules' adn keep paying ridiculous fee's and taxes and avoid the 'seed to sale' law so I have gone to a smaller grow (30kw in flower, 10kw in veg) and use the 'caregiver' status to grow under......

Really??? You must just know the right ppl, i guess. When i lived in ky, weed was the hardest thing to find, just overpriced pharms... We ended up just havin to quit smokin cuz it was so ridiculously hard to find and didnt have the time or the nerve to grow my own.

I cant wait to move to CO where its legal!!!! Dan, you have like my dream job!! Do you have to have some kind of certification to work(not own) in a shop like that?

^Where the fuck in KY did you live? I seen on a documentary a while back that KY used to count for like 85% of weed cultivated in the USA, obviously Cali now accounts for most of that but KY is notorious for weed farming.

Anytime I've been in southern WV which is pretty much fuckin E. KY the bud was def like that dude was sayin, maybe a little more. Don't get me wrong it wasn't no super duper shit like some Cali shit I've had, but some real bomb weed for $30-40 a 8th and I wasn't livin there so I definitely believe if you live there you got no prob findin some super shit for $35 a cut or whatever.
