So what's your favorite opiophile.org theme (http://forum.opiophile.org/showthread.php?t=113)?

Would you like to see anything additional? How about the PDA theme; anyone tried it?

My least favourite is aquasoft; but I think they all have their places/uses. Good work, bi11i.

(The dark red one appeals to my gothic sensibilities... :) )

that's ok with me; that's the only theme that I didn't personally come up with (that and the PDA theme, anyway.)

I havent checked all the available themes. This theme here I like very much (a lighter blue). But thats just because it is my personal taste, I like lighter board colours better. No matter what colour, the board is great.

I just changed the default again; does this make everyone's default change right along with it? Or did you stick to your original choice?

Yes, I believe it made everyone's default change, bi11i. Well, it did mine (and I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I should have spent enough time here by now to have a passing familiarity with the setup! :) )

so the purple and original blue were tied? I wonder what others I should add or if we should even take another vote now that I've switched them and more members are aware that you can switch them.

any opinions on this default blue? This is was our first theme. I like it, I just don't care for the logo all that much.... Someone had given me an idea for a logo in another forum, I'll have to look for it.

Wow this is the first time I've ever posted. I actually like the Poppy Blue the best but Deep Red is in second place for me.

Wow, great poll results! I'm super surprised in reading that the Fluid Black theme hasn't a single vote, but maybe now with the new logo in place, I'll add a few more.

Any special requests?

Anyone like the discreet theme (headers and meta tags removed, for 'at work' purposes?)

I really like the blue that I'm looking at now.I've sorta grown accustomed to it over the last few months and would probably feel kind of awkward looking at another color.I really like the banner up top with the blue and green poppies.That sap oozing out just looks so...........mmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

I know this thread was started a while ago and things may have changed, but I am not able to change the colors by going to Edit Options in the user control panel - nothing comes up (aside from the warning that solicitation is prohibited), the only thing I can change is in the lower left with the 'quick style chooser', but there's only a few options there...:confused:

My guess is that they changed things around, because I have the same experience. I just logged on/off in several different browsers thinking it was a problem on my end, before I saw this post.

Actually, never has vBulletin allowed the changing of specific colors per user (at least not that I'm aware of.)

What we've created are several themes which you can choose from. You can either select this from the quick-drop down menu at the bottom left, or you can choose permanently from the 'User Options', 'Options' menu.

Hope this clears any confusion up - let us know if you'd like to see some other themes...!

I for one definitely would! I'm picking some themes out for one of my own vB sites presently, so maybe I'll find one or two that would make good additions to the 'Phile :-)

Forgive my ignorance but for some reason the only "skins" I can get are the Redreds(my favorite) curtains up, supa lite, and the blank spankin' new. I've tried both the quick drop down and the edit options way to no avail.
Its not that big of a deal but the Discreet option could be of some use for me.

Sorry - an old thread. The discreet theme is gone - wasn't compatible with v3.5 of vB. The Supa Lite should work in place of it, though....

Eurple eople meter (did I spell that right? is by far the best but the little bar for an example just doesn't do it justice ...
So I'm settiling for Poppy Blue until a few more people miss the purple (It was actually more of a deep blueish purple on my monitor) ... twas beautiful .... I MISS IT! :rolleyes:

I'm with them, I was following those instructions to a T and still all that's available skin-wise over here are the old ones that you could switch to a long time ago. That's weird that it works for some people and not others, maybe not compatable? I dunno, beat's the hell out of me.

No, I can switch them but there are only the old 5 choices to choose between; like nothing ever changed over here, it's weird.
