On some other thread a few weeks ago someone posted about some new pill comeing to the market...Asania or something....bascily they were time-relese oxymorphone pills.

Has anyone gotten these, know what there called...are they bootable?

I may sound dumb, but what exactly kind of a drug is it? I know it's an opiate obviously, but I mean what do they use it for etc etc I've never heard of oxymorphone out of the streets so....?

Dilaudid... it's a potent Opaite agonist. It usually comes in 2, 4, and 8 mg pills but they are talking about new extended release Hydromorphone pills. Hydromorphone is used to treat moderate to severe pain.

Dilaudid is hydromorphone. Oxymorphone was produced by Endo as Numorphan but too many people liked it (me) and the Blue Endos as they were called were pulled. Then, Numorphan could only be obtained at hospitals in ampulues. Now, Endo has put out a time release version Opana. The old Blue Endos were injectable. Don't know about the new Opana but I used to like Numorphan BETTER than Dilaudid.

I was all jazzed to try Palladone when it was introduced---never saw it, and now it's gone forever.

So I'm not gonna get my hopes up for Opana, but it sounds lovely.

Don't feel bad, Palladone sucked big time! When it was on the market, I got switched to it from regular hydromorph. It was very difficult to get into solution, and what would dissolve was very little of the total capsule. The drug was actually like little rocks, very hard to crush, and I have a whole lab available to work on this stuff. It was somewhat alcohol soluble, so you could dissolve some of it that way, but then you had to dilute it to get the EtOH concentration low enough to inject. So, you didn't miss much! It got pulled in the US because drinking EtOH caused it to release too fast.

^ It's a possibility. In the prescribing info, they mention potential for abuse by crushing & injecting. There is only one inactive ingredient that isn't well known - has something to do with the time-release mech, it was called Timer-x or something like that.

I almost got palladone. My pain doc recomended it, went to look up the dosage, and found out that it was pulled from the market. This struck me as odd because my doc would not put me on dilaudid or OC. Yet, he was up and ready to throw me palladone like they were viodin 5's. Weird, huh?

No shit, that is weird. I can't get my Doc. to give me Dilaudid, believe me, I've been trying for about a year.

Since Oxymorphone is so strong, why is hydrocodone considered a "lesser" opiate? I thought the liver converted the hydrocodone to oxymorphone...or am I very wrong?

Dude, codeine is also converted to morphine when it goes through your system... does that make it even half as good? Not by a long shot. Codeine is basicly worthelss unless you have no toler AT ALL... as is hydro to 'most' of us. Have you ever took hydrocodone!?!? Then have u ever tookeven hydromorphone!?!? You'd see youc an't even comapre the two teh effects are so diff. and oxymorphone is like oxycodone is to hydrocodone... so yeah...Hydrocodone, That shit wont budge me for shit.; Even before I tried oxy or morphine... it's basicly worthless, especialy if you're in severe pain...

and Oxycodone does convert to oxymorphine through the liver. i know that fo sho. But still doesn't give the effects of oxymorph, at all.

Just cause adrug converts to another through your system means jack shit man. Take a codeine and a morphine and comapre... yeah... then take a oxycontin and a oxymorphone and comapre... you will see they arn't near the same strength-wise my friend.

DAMNIT, I have yet to try oxymorphone! I'd kill for that shit :p Even though my piss is full of it as I'm a daily oxycodone(roxi 30s) user... lol. I enver tried palladone either. The only hydromorphone I ever had was the K4 diladas and these 2mg generic dillies. Just 8mg hydromorph is like 30+mg oxy! I'm still a fent man though :D I'd probly say diff if I mainlined :p maybe i like fent casue when smoked it's comparable to HIGH does of IV morphine :) and i get 10 patches a month :P

No one in my town gives a fuck about opies...its a bunch of annoying tweakers. I hate this town.

fents good to mainline too......i got the 72 hr mylaN non-gels to break down in isoproply-ascorbic acid bath, then evaporated the iso off the spoon, leaveng water to be shot....

if i get some again tho iam going to try high ether-heptane starter flid to break the oligopolymer down with....then the water seperateing. Alas the patch dude got ran out of town by the tweekers...and girl troubes.
