So I can't find my post from last month from when I was asking about the getting my script filled.

Well, I went on the 17th - got it. Took my last one just a bit ago & wondered if I should go in tomorrow - because I remember someone saying something about 28 day cycle.

Easy there Opi, I'm not sure exactly what is being asked either but I don't think it has anything to do with trying to get meds through here... I'm fairly sure that it is a question on filling a script.

I posted about a month ago about me getting my script filled early. I wasn't trying to find stuff online - take it easy lemon squeezy.

Being that tomorrow is only the 16th, and I got them filled on the 17th of last month - I'm not too sure about some 28 day cycle stuff. I'll have to rummage through the board & find my last post - someone replied about a 28 day cycle.

Actually, I'm not sure about getting them filled tomorrow. Ha! I'm not a newbie to getting them filled - but not old to getting them filled early.

But really, I don't use this board to look for anything - unless to look UP something.

To answer the question. Yes! You can get your script filled early WITHIN REASON. Usually 2-3 days is the norm. Your insurance will still pay at this time if you have it. If you don't then you can get it filled as early as the doc will write it as long as you go to a different pharm (as in not linked by computer w/ the one you used last month). The 2-3 day early deal with insurance is just so people don't run out of meds say on a Sunday when doctors office is closed. They are able to go to doc on Friday (couple days early) and go ahead and get their scripts. This also keeps people from running out b/c of things like having to order meds when pharmacy is out or if you or your doc might be leaving town.

I know you can, on occasion, get your script filled early, but it's not something you want to do on a regular basis. It will look bad, get you labeled as a drug seeker or abuser. While it's very tempting to do it every month, since you'll run out early every month, eventually they'll cut you off.

I've been taking some meds to take the edge of nervousness off - I actually slept through today & didn't make it to the doc. Sooooo... I'll go tomorrow, originally on the 17th :). I suppose it works out.
