Tired of docs fucking me over, and cant deal with migraines no more. At one point i fell off my bed, i dunno why. PISSED NOW cause all my pills were taken away. I laid into docs today for the position tey put m in... HOW AM I SSUPPOSE TO LIVE IN PAIN EVERTDAY...

did you just take that and are still having the come up on them? or are you in the clear? that sounds liek a dangerous dose and i dunno, im nervous that you do need to head to the er.

please dont throw in the towel - it wont do ya any good, or any one else. sure itll get rid of the migraines, but i think youll find a compasionate doc at some point who can help with the pain?

stay near the computer!! dont nod out / fall asleep / stay up / call the er if you think you need to... key word being "think". Better safe than sorry. I dont wanna see this site one member short, and definately not you! i love reading your musings!

sorry for delay... i passed out last night (when originally wrote thread) and posteed when woke. going nuts cause pain has gotten so bad, and docs wont help anymore because i have become tolerant... so i guess its better to just suffer. i took everything i could find yesterday to not feel the throbbing in my head... and i still cant walk straight. fuck it

i understand antigone. It is a terrible feeling to all of a sudden not have your normal meds/dose and have to attempt to compensate using other shitty drugs just to get by. THis has happened to me before and i hated the fact that i had to take dangerous amounts of shit just to go to sleep and then look forward to a day of hell. People dont fucking understand that we need what we need or we can die from various different ways. "they" dont know the pain that we go through (mental and/or physical) and the extremes that we go to try to take away that pain. Its torture. You have to go through this to understand.
Alot of doctors need to take crash course in abrubtly "running out of your opiates hell"....they can relieve this suffering. Its not some F'n joke it causes the worst anguish i have ever experienced and there is only one real "safe" way to alleviate the suffering---by giving us our damn medicine back and then well do the best we can. As i said doctors are the ones that can relieve our suffering. Alot more research and work needs to go into opiate pharmacology and drug policy. Alot of change needs to happen before more of us die or come close to death.

I'm glad that you mentioned mental pain too, SP. Some people are not helped by psych meds; opis have saved my life more than once. I don't know you, Antigone, but I'm glad that you're still with us. Overdosing on pills is not fun, and I am sorry that you had your meds cut. That really sucks. Good luck finding another source. This is really a quality of life issue - and everybody deserves a good one! Compassionate docs are out there, but they are few and far between - particularly given how they are being persecuted nowadays. I often think that pain/psych patients, junkies, and doctors/other medical professionals really need to rally together to fight this soi-disant "War on Pain". This is simply a no win situation for everyone.

I Understand you prob have a real massive tolerance, but you know their a good pain killer, even if it only helps you abit.
