The Nod

I haven´t used H more than one time and that was a very mild dose so it doesn´t even count. I have read about something called the nod and i think i have seen somebody reach it. And perhaps i have to but with 12*200 mg Dolotards over a 5 h period. I reached this state where i had dreams which i could control more or less. I remember very clearly this scenario where i *in the dream* jump of a roof at this high building and i could feel the wind in my face and when coming close to the ground i learned how to fly. Then my friend woke me up. Is this perhaps what u people call the nod?

Came in Red/Whit capsules thats the 200mg
150mg was white pills

I suppose that they are quite similar bur Dolotard is dextropropoxyphen and Darvon is propoxyphen.
Haven´t herd about Darvon before.

Yeah I was amused by the name too. This is just a random story about nodding that I feel like sharing. This was a few years back when SWIM was telling me about a night of oxycodone use which made SWIM nod quite hard while at the same time bringing on some nausea. SWIM was standing at a sink throwing up and while waiting for the next bout of puking swim would start to nod off and bang his head on the shelf above the sink. SWIM was even noding off while vomiting and banging his head. This poor person looked at themselves in the mirror the next day and discovered about 8 lines running across his forehead where he had hit the shelf. None the less it was quite hard for this person to explain the lines away the next day.

So if a dolotard is d-propoxyphene, is someone who uses it to get high doloretarded? You should really look for a different method of nodding off. 12x200mg of that shit is more than enough to not only have you nodding, but more likely, seizing your brains out. You should really look for some... oxycodone or some other narcotic. Ever meperidine (pethidine) is a better choice, and I'm not a big fan of demerol or heart problems.

That sounds like the nod to me though. Damn, I can't remember the last time I really nodded. methadone. If I'm high enough, closing my eyes in relative quiet will send my mind down a twisting maze of mental stories. I wouldn't call them dreams, because there's only words, every five, ten minutes, my body goes numb and I'm filled with a sudden euphoric rush, reminiscent of a orgasm; an orgasm not focused on my groin but rather my entire body. I think thats how I manage without sex while I'm on painkillers for longer perioids of time.

i took a handfull of propoxy's once and get the feeling that if i couldn't stay awake(very hard), that i would die.

i have taken handfuls of darvon n one hundreds many times and never had a bad experience , hell that is the favorite pill of pill detox clinics then again im the guy who has shot pure usp codiene all day and liked it too or least i didnt get wd sick the only reason i ever took handfuls though was extreme habit and it kept me from gettin real sick

it's possible but for some people new to opioids it still may be hard to go on the nod from darvon. dextropropoxyphene is stronger than the propoxyphene that is very common here in the US, about twice as strong I think. now there are of course dextropropoxyphene capsules here in the US but they are less common than the big pink darvocet tablets. the darvocet (aside from the tylenol in it) is a racemic mixture so it's only half d-propoxyphne and the other half is levopropoxyphene which is an antitussive but incredibly weak.
