Types Of Tar ?????

Out here in Southern Cali we mostly get the Sticky Black Tar and okay everybody knows that by now .. So somebody asked a dealer recently , Heh Man , Can you get anything other than this Sticky Black Shit and he says Yeah its just nobody wants to pay the 10$ more per gram for the powder brown shit . Now , I know its possible to just make the Tar into Powder , My question is any thoughts on spending 10 dollars more for suppoused cleaner crumbly powder or Is the powder actually a different type from the Tar Process ? Any thoughts or Opinions ?

Well, without knowing exactly what you got, I'd say dope is dope (with a few exceptions). over the last coupla years I had brown powder, but several years ago I only got tar. I couldn't tell a difference in potency and such. I like the tar better simply because I think it is easier to work with, ie., there are never any lil crumbs falling on the counter or floor when they should be in coddfish. but hey, if it's only 10 bucks more, get a coupla grams and see what you think. And post results.

Yea, I'd say at $10 more per gram, buy a sack and try it out. Be patient, and wait till the next morning when you are totally fresh/sober to see if there is a difference.

And "dope is dope" or in this case "tar is tar" is true to an extent. Where I live I can differentiate between 4 different types of tar depending on who I get it from:

*Low Quality, Shady: Rusty brown, even reddish. Kinda sketches me out but will buy as a last resort. Produces alot of smoke when chasing the dragon, and tastes funny. Always kinda tastes like you are getting a dirty metallic/foil hit even when there is still dope on the foil. The high is fairly weak. $60 per gram

*Standard-Medium Grade: What I normally get, because the guy who sells this is the most reliable and on the ball, and not a user himself. Dark black, ranging from putty soft to almost rock hard. Smokes well, bit of a sour taste. Gets you high. $60 per gram.

*Standard-High Grade: The "standard" shit for a different dealer. Less sour, and definitely a noticeable increase in potency. Softer and more of a putty consistency from what I have sampled so far. I aim to get this now whenever possible, but the guy who sells it is a pretty big flake/lagger. At $60 per gram it is more bang for your buck than the others, reasonable price for a goooood high.

*The Super Shit: One of the big suppliers who distributes the Standard-Medium grade gets this as well. Only available on a few specific days of the weak. No sour-ness, more of a chemical after taste (sometimes rumored to be cut with fentanyl but I doubt that). Many say they would rather have .1 grams of this than .3 grams of regular shit. Tried it for the first time recently, and you definitely feel way more than you "should" off a tiny hit. But at $100 a gram, I think its a better value to pay less for standard and get more.

I have never got to try powder, so in your position I would pick up a gram of it just for experimental purposes. Try puttin some flakes on foil and smoking, try snorting a healthy sized line, or however it is you prefer to do it.

UPDATE: In regards to that "Super Shit" ^ I posted about. Turns out I tried it during the one time the batch wasn't the same as usual. Tried it again couple nights ago and daaaaamn. Best dope I have ever had by far. Granted I had smoked some regular stuff, but then smoking .1 grams of this stuff had me nodding. Incredible. I changed my mind and concluded that I'd rather have less of this shit than more of some regular shit. Just thought I'd share.

where swim was from on the east coast...there was no tar. just the brown powder. it was pretty cool it was always packaged really good. in a little bag nicely sealed with a picture on the front with a name on it. This is the only way swim saw it. Now im on the west coast and theres only Tar (as far as i can tell)...it really interests me that its like that one way here and another way there. The powder is good though and very easy to work with.
