Is tramadol (ultram) an opiate -- Have looked at a couple of sites and not sure, I am going threw some mild wd's and a have a few --- just wondering . They are orange with (kali) on one side and (083) on the other????? Thanks for any info........

They work well for w/d, and yes they are a FORM of synth. opie. I loved the ones I got, no buzz but great for tapering down or w/d's

Tramodol is a synthetic opiate.I believe it was designed not to be euphoric-Lord forbid anybody should enjoy themselves.However they are supposed to be good for physical pain.

tramodol is not on the a list fer us kinds of o-philes. repeat is not on the a-list.

i had a conversation with my friend last night as we left the bar for a bit to smoke a bowl. she said she had some darvocet she was going to give me. she knows i love drugs. i was kind of disappointed and when she was digging through her purse i noticed other bottles inthere so i asked what they were. she had tramadol too. i had already taken 300 mg and wasnt feeling much(before i got into pod tea, this would have had me feeling wonderful). i got excited and she gave me 200 mg more. after 500 mg of tram throughout the night and about 4 or 5 beers, i felt a little better.
as she was giving me these pills she was stating that darvocet fucks her up way more than tramadol. ive never actually tried darvocet but what ive heard it is weaker than tram. i chalked it up to her having a diff body chemistry.

id take tramadol if i had a lower tolerance, but now they are almost worthless. helps with w/d which is what i used them for yesterday.

Darvocet is controlled & classified as an opiate combination med. On the other hand, tramadol is NOT a TRUE opiate & not even a controlled substance....let's just say it fits into the same kind of receptor sites as do our beloved opies...so that can be a bad thing if you're mixing them....you can actually push the desired opiate off the receptor site by taking the tramadol...this is also why there's no rush (for most people) when taking tramadol, but it can be helpful to use if one needs to combat w/d's.
