Currently going through first withdrawl from 2.5-5mg fentanyl and previously 50-70mg hydrocodone a day, and am three days into it (though I did take 200mg tramadol yesterday and the day before).
The runs and nausea have already stopped, but I have this terrible awful anxious, restless feeling in my upper shoulders and legs; where I feel I have to constantly twitch to make the feeling go away. I can't sleep at all. I'm just wondering how many more days I have of that awful restless feeling and inability to sleep for more than an hour at a time. Trying to get some benzos to help with that. I tried the DXM, and using those large dosage of loparmide scares me. Does the lope help with the restlessness?

the first w/d was by FAR the easiest for me, constant moderate amounts of DXM and forcing yourself to exercise does alleviate a good part of the blahs n restless. DXM used to be my workout drug anyway; it helped me get in shape in high school, and just simple sets of jumping jacks every few hours, pushups when I could, and maybe some walks (plus a lot of movies in between) helped tremendously. if you got lope on your side and can get those endorphins pumpin without shittin your pants, you should be ok man. You got some benzos or ambien? that would just be gravy. take it easy, you should be out of the woods and feeling at least ok in no time. oh yeah, being able to come's kinda novel if you run out of movies.

^yes.
My first real w/d I didn't really knwo either. My dealer asked me for a ride and I said "I can't, I'm sick" and she was like, well I'll throw you something for taking me. and I was like, "What don't you get, I'm sick!" and I went and got her, and learned that I was more than just "sick".
sucks though man. good luck!
Lope doesn't constipate you more than any other strong opi does.

haha, i thought i was so tough plowing through 'the easy one'... and then i had to cold turkey off fent, dillys and oxy a few years later. and i brought a few emergency supplies (docs wanted me clean for some tests, it was legit scripts), and if i did enough, i'd be well for a few minutes, then feel worse than before... haha, 'tough', i was bawling at sob stories on 60 minutes about teens who killed themselves with that sarah mclaughlin song in the background.. just like burroughs

hmmm. I'm wondering if I had w/d before than. There have been lots of times when I stopped using for a bit and felt "off." This has been the first time though with shakes, sweats, chills, etc. The not being able to get comfortable and inability to sleep are by far the worst for me.

Kyle, get some lope do not be afraid about taking large doses, many of us here have done it and we are fine, it will make it easier to sleep and you will be much more comfortable, hope you make it thru it alright, stay strong and good luck.

do yourself a favour kyle and make sure its your last w/d too, cause put it this way, it doesnt get any better...
i look back with fond indulgence at what i considered to be withdrawal symptoms when i started on this rocky road
and i never knew what they were to start with, people think thats bullshit but i swear it aint, id been smoking this stuff day in day out for a month and when i stopped i had the flu and couldnt sleep, a sicky feeling and the runs, had some the day after and it all became a memory, thats when the penny started to drop
im from the first wave of junkies from a small town that for some reason has always had a problem with drugs, there were codeine/phensedyl/speed addicts before, but no smack heads before '92-'93, i had no frame of reference to quote when i became an addict, not besides the 'heroin screws you up' posters, zammo from grange hill, 'the killing' by the ragga twins and 'golden brown' by the stranglers
ah well, one thing about junk, the learning curve is steep... ignorance never lasted long....
