My First Thread: Philly Fent./H. mix

First a little background: My neighbor's second cousin's butcher's bestfriend's dogwalker told me that he had gotten to a point where the latest hydro fling was getting ridiculous. He was using 40-60 norcos a day and I am sure his liver was about to fail. A few days ago he decided to go back to the best opie and the best form of administration.
So a few days ago he went to the old neighborhood in Philly and drove around the usual corners for an hour or so and had a hard time finding anything. After a couple hours he finally found some dudes and got the shit. With the recent news hype about the h./fent. mixes going around, he took the advice of a fellow ophile (whose name escapes me at the moment) and tried just a smidgen of the first stamp bag. It was mediocre, so he did the rest of it. The next day he went to a different street and got 8 stamp bags ($80). He tried just a little bit of this, too and it was fucking incredible. For starters the bags looked really beat and really white. In mixing it up, it barely turned brown and only had a faint aroma of dope. In comparison to what DD said in the thailand thread about a matchhead being a lot. With this a matchhead would've been too much. He was stoked. Basically, one stamped dime that looks like a shitty count is good for 5-6 shots. He doesn't think this is due to lack of tolerance as he had been consuming a shit load of norcos daily and the really brown bags from the day before had only been so-so. So I am wondering what you guys think of this story that was related to me. Do you think it is the fentanyl that is going around?

First off, going from norco to H is a HUGE leap, I dont care how many norcos you are taking a day, H is many many times stronger. If you said it was bronw, than I doubt it is laced with fent, cause fent tends to be white, but I could be wrong.

I may not have stated that as clearly as I could have. The first day he got really brown stuff that had the distinct H smell. The next day he got stuff that only turned slightly brown, like still basically clear, and it was exponentially stronger. I know Norco and H are worlds apart. He was a regular H user for several years, but stopped until recently. I would have to say this was stronger than any dope I have gotten before and I have had some really good shit since I was a regular user when they were touting philly had the strongest dope in the world. No worries, I have only ever had lots and lots of tar, and a brown powder on a few occassions. I gotta say that the tar is getting better and better, so maybe the dope that you were use to is just getting better. Just remember the person who you bought off of, maybe the 1st guy you bought off of was cutting the shit first, who knows really - this is all speculation anyways. I just dont understand the fent laced Heroin scare. Fentanyl is expensive, from my knowledge it is more expensive than regular dope, so I dont see how people who cut their dope with fent are saving money. Usually people cut their dope with stuff that cost nothing, not another drug that is going to cost them money on the side, It just makes no sense to me.

Fentanyl is expensive, from my knowledge it is more expensive than regular dope, so I dont see how people who cut their dope with fent are saving money. Getting something like a Duragesic fentanyl patch or an Actiq fentanyl sucker will cost you a lot, but fentanyl can be made in a lab without any need for opium. Producing a drug from relatively easy to get reagents inside America seems much more cost effective than growing poppies, harvesting opium, purifying the morphine from opium, reacting the morphine into heroin, and then smuggling the heroin into the country. Especially when you take into account the fact that fentanyl is so potent you could probably get a couple thousand doses out of a gram (if you consider 500mcg to be a dose of fentanyl). So if an organized crime group was smuggling heroin into the country for sale and they had the ability to create fentanyl here I think they could increase their profits by using less heroin and adding fentanyl.

This link gives a good summary of the recent fentanyl lacings. After further investigation I am pretty convinced that those bags I got were fentanyl laced. I went back to the same corner a couple times since then and the dope hasn't been nearly as good, although more brown and with more of a familiar dope smell. The bags even had the same stamp as the first ones, "Yes". In any case, I think I decided to stick to the Hydro. I need to leave this part of my life in the past. I spent a week remembering how great dope can be, but I don't want to spend a week remembering how awful it can be too.

From what I have been seeing most of the fent/dope mixed bags are coming out of Camden, but there are some in Philly.

I haven't heard of anybody Od'ing lately, but they were dropping like flys....
I do mostly pharms so I have been out of the sceen for a while but the D that was described sounds like the fent shit that was around last time I needed to cop just a few weeks ago. back in the day there was a synthetic out of NY called check mate, but it dosed like real good dope.
There was better control over it before it hit the street, the stuff out there now is just deadly.

I agree..... To update this I have been doing this shit for a couple weeks and it is really good and I have gotten to the point where I feel like I can safely titrate my doses. A couple times I did actually drop out for a couple minutes right after the plunger went down, but I am still here breathing. Any way, I got different dope today because the usual boys weren't out yet and everyone was talking about how great this shit is and I did it and it took like three bags for me to get off and even then it wasn't much of a rush. I think I must've built a crazy tolerance in the last couple weeks with that other shit.

in a long ass mother frickin time. and yes i agree those boys ran a quality operation. nevermind the product but just the aquasition of it was always done in an orderly fashion or you just didn't get served......memories....damn.
