no i very much doubt that they will. In fact alot of people on here reckon a fatty meal before their PST makes it come on better etc..

Peanut butter and jelly with opiates used to be my trademark. Never fucked with it.

Usually, I prefer to take opiates with food or on a full stomach. My stomach becomes upset if I don't. Opiates also helped my appetite.

Yea looks like it did not affect them too much but I think it may have affecting it some . Oh well at least it did not ruin it altogether. Thanks for the replies.

It was said before but ill say it once more, if anything it should make the roxies more potent not less. Try and find the thread about fatty meals before your opi it was labeled something like that, most of the people agree that after having a nice fatty meal your dose feels stronger, i think someone even posted a insert from a pharmaceutical company explaining that after a fatty meal the peak plasma levels of oxycodone happen quicker, the onset is suppose to be quicker.

Ok I'm not going to argue about that makes sense now. Sounds right.

in my experience a fatty meal about 10 minutes after i take oxycodone helps potentiate tremendously.

wisegal it does work to what extent? That is debatable but it does work, its up to the individual to try and see if its worth it, but really that sounds like a pretty sweet science experiment to try out. Peanut butter and roxi? Hell yea sign me up for that study.

...I'm not really feeling them?

More likely your newly developing tolerance than a PB&J sandwich. Way back when I started using opiates I always took 15mg of oxycodone, and it got me fucked up. And then one day I distinctly remember taking 15mg of and not feeling anything. It's all down hill from here buddy.

i think that since they were instant release, you should be OK. It MIGHT take a long time tho. however with some pills, like opana er, ive heard of some people actually passing the whole pill in their stool still intact!! a lot of my friends say that AFTER taking the pills, eating fatty foods will increase potency or bioavaliablity. wouldnt know tho, bc i bang everything. i dont like to waste 40% of the oxycodone bc of fucking stomach acid.

Oxycodones bio-availability is something like 89-90% maybe higher. Taking them orally or banging them not a huge difference aside from the rush.

No, there are no drug-food interactions or contraindications between Oxycodone and peanuts, peanut butter, or peanut oil.

In fact, as OpiateQueen mentioned above, it's more likely that the high fat content in peanut butter and peanut oil would potentiate your dose or increase the levels of Oxycodone in your bloodstream. When given with a high fat meal, peak plasma levels increased by 25%. Of course the 25% increase was with a single dose of the OxyContin 160mg tablet but other doses do show increases also, though not as high.

Here are some good threads, both Stickies in this forum.

Food has no significant effect on the extent of absorption of Oxycodone from OxyContin. However, the peak plasma concentration of Oxycodone increased by 25% when an OxyContin 160 mg Tablet was administered with a high-fat meal.

I might be more addicted to Reeses Big Cups than I am to my little blue 30's!

I always rail on an empty stomach and if its night time, I eat about 3 or 4 Reeses products weather it is regular cups, waffer cookies, pieces and I never noticed a difference in my high other than candy for dinner makes me happy.
