Ever, when its real nasty outside, pouring rain, cloudy day, just decide to listen to some blind melon. Something about the ambiance of the music with the vibe of the weather just brings a feeling inside that cant be described. I guess the ol' mash theme by Nick Drake - Suicide Is Painless is a song that sorta does the same thing to me. Anyone else got some good rainy day tunes?

Yep, seems to be rainy all over. It's not pouring or anything here, but it was last night, and it's been on and off all day.
Good rainy day music... nothing super high energy, something relaxed and groovy. Brian Eno's ambient stuff would sound great now. I love the Velvet Underground as well... anyone ever listen to the Mountain Goats? Great, great stuff.
The Weakerthans are pretty nice for this mood as well. And lots of other shit I can't think of off the top of my head...
