Experience with acts of mild to extreme kindness by nurses should be revealed within...
Twice very very recently I have experienced some o' that nurse lovin kindness. First a friend of a freind is a nurse and casually removed some individually wrapped OC's from a hospital for me birthday.
Incidentally I was out all night and hadn't my suboxone dose for a long time and my next Sub appointment was the very next day...Today. I indulged prior to that appointment needless to say or more to the point I dirtied my urine.
Twenty four hours or so later a nurse held up a opaque vessel containing four tongue depressors one of which had the words "Drug Screen" written on it and asked.
"Is this your first time doing a random?"
Being my third appoinment it was my first random test (automatic first two) so I said yes and drew.
FUCK! It said "DRUG MOTHERFUCKING SCREEN"!!!
About the time my shit hit the floor the young woman behind the counter smiled and said "try again."
I need not explain to you the joy and confusion that swirled through my mind at that moment. I reached in to the container again.
