new to fentanyl patches...

I'm new here and need some advise. I've never done a fent. patch, but I'm getting some this week, and I'm not sure where to start. I have friends that eat them, and I have friends that boot them. In my prefernce, I'd like to boot it, but that shit is scary. I'm used to doing oc 80's, and can handle my own, I'm just not sure how much to do, or how to prepare it for IV. Please respond with your sugestions, or concerns.

well first it depends on what kind of patch you get, theres gel or non-gel. both are bootable, and thats the way to go. with DURAGESIC / gel kind the main issue is not oding yourself ( easy too do! a lil teeny corner has the equvalent of many shots in it) ......... the new kind is MYLAN non gel....these aree almost impossable to get enogh to feel becuse "the silicone oligopolymer" is both waterproof and heatproof. i worked out a way to do it....and itsa somewhere in a thread under patches...or serch for posts by me, theres alot of failed attempts too. if you get the GEL kind your in luck however!!

Yeah, they are gel. So you're saying what, like a match head amount, or more like a pea sized amount? I heard you need lots of cc's of water, and then cook like an oxy? I'll prolly start real small, and work my way up till I feel it I guess. Thanks!

if your useing a cooker and cant cook all the gel then ya....1 pea...cook, use a filter, and if your good at lil shoots divide by the cc's...if not use a big cooker, say a 100 unit rig, fill up and sqiurt it all in like 10 times....start with only 50 units of that....your trying for 1/20th the water is a shot.....when useing a pea. if this is to wussy u can work up later...but you wont od, let me know how it works out for ya!
your lucky its the gels! those new mylans suck shit....the shots good but it takes at least half hour to make it!!!!

I am new as well.
I applied my first patch (75 ug) today and.........I'm not impressed. My tolerace is not very high - 2 norcos will do me just fine, so I was anticipating some sort of rush from the patch. Nothin!

Well, I've never shot one, I only smoke mine. I get the 2.5mg, 25mcg/hr oens for my pain(back, recently had major surgery). god does it FUCK YOU UP. BETTER than avg street dope! Now as good as this grade a++ that was going aorund tho ;) and smoing fent, is BETTER than IV morphine to me. HELLA RUSH> Now oral fent gel isn't gonna be euphoria at all. Neither is wearing it. You're gonna have to smoke or mainline it to get a rush, and god will u. Of the 2.5mg ones I get, SANDOZ brand, I usualy smoke about 1mg per setting, that will ahve me good for about 4hours. this is with taking my soma and morph of course... usualy my kpins too.

I don't think mainlining would be smart with the gel tho,. i'd just smoke it :p

After searching the forums here is what I have learned tonight:

1. Opening up the gel patch (which is what I have) and eating it will be a wild time. Don't OD (obviously.) So I removed my patch, cut it open, and then took a Q-Tip to remove some gel and I ate it.

...but then:

2. The gel contains some serious chemicals that are incredibly bad for you, your liver specifically. So I took some of the gel and smeared it on a cigarette.

3. Smoking it involves more than just putting it on a cigarette :P I only put a small amount in the cig....I'm experimenting! However, I was starting to feel a little something from step 1.

4. Make a nasal solution - Stadol+++ ! so I emptied a bottle of saline nasal mist and put the rest of the gel into the bottle. I then filled the bottle with warm water and shook it up.


So here I am not quite 12 hours from my initial application of the patch and I feel pretty GOOD. Im not nodding or feeling like I've taken too much....but I was still hoping that the mythical Fentanyl would give me something more.

It will definitely hold me over until I can pickup my refill on hydros. I will be trying some CWE this time around.

I've always just put the things on and put a heating pad on it. It gives you one hell of a nice nod feeling that lasts awhile. You gotta leave the heat on for awhile though and it doesent come right away so be patient. I did this with my last patch and it was the best high I've goten off them yet since I'm not about to stick a needle in my arm. Sadly instead if lasting 3 days it only lasted about 1 or two days.

Good luck, I personally didn't like bootin' the one I did. It was almost TOO intense; it felt like my chest was going to rip open and my whole body turned red and started itching REALLY bad. I didn't see what was so special about that crap. When used them as they were intended, they helped my pain out a lot.
