When the post office sends a package, dont they send it through the x-ray machine to make sure theres no weapons in it and whatnot. would these machines also be able to identify pills/pods that come through the mail. If this is true wouldnt it be feasable to wrap whatever is being sent in tin foil, or put whatever pills into an altoids container, fill with cotton so they dont rattle. and then be sent without mishap? thanks for the input guys.

I recently watched a 20/20 (or one of those news shows) on this exact subject. Apparently, the feds tried to 'convince' (i.e. force) postal carriers to watch for patterns of violations... like one company sending out pills all the time...

Get this shit: all of them (dhl, ups, fed-ex) agreed, but the one that didn't was... you got it! The USPS... good ol' bureaucracy!!! Their argument: first they aren't funded for it (which means they won't even come close to doing it) and second, they aren't an enforcement organization... they fucking carry the mail.

Basically they told the three-letter orgs to do their fucking jobs, and the post office would do theirs...

Soo... conclude what you will.

Someone that lives nearby me one day came to my house and was like "i got something i wanna show you, come over to my house in a few minutes" so i did, and he pulled out this package sent by UPS, opened it up, and there was a bag a little bit larger than the size of a football with the most prettiest beautiful california chronic you have ever seen, also enclosed between 2 VHS tape cases was about a half oz of mushies. that stuff stank like WHAT. if i was the UPS man i would taken it for myself, cuz that shit was stanky. the good type of stanky too

If they start doing that, then I'll just have to start sending large packages with nothing but individual x-rays in them. Can x-ray machines see developed x-rays? I hope so. I Think I'll make a stop off at the chiropractor's. Oh my god! Call the FBI, someone's mailed a torso!....But the package, it's so light?

You know what, the USPS is the most safest way to get anything you want;) ;) or need as long as its inside the USA. Just Over Night the fucker, and for me, atleast I have never had a problem.

USPS is it, the fucking amazing network of alot of cool fucking people. they collectively told the bush adm. to stop trying to force them to be spies.....

USPS is my first choice.

UPS doesn't use any sort of X-ray on your stuff. I worked there for a year or so, they don't care if there are pills in bottles. No one opens anything moving through the states. Things going outside of the US gets searched about 1 in 30 times. Thats a pretty good ratio, but not one I'd be willing to risk my life in jail for.
