I've got a surgery coming up to fix a series of tears in my shoulder. That's going to be done arthroscopically; but I understand it's going to hurt because of the number of hooks that will used to reattache the pieces which have torn.
I assume that post-op, I will be given some type of pain medication, beyond an anti-inflammatory- ie my beloved opiates. Would this be a safe assumption ?
Is something like kratom going to be good to use, to boost the effects of the pain medication they're going to give me ?
Or should I just rely on taking good doses of tagamet and white grapefruit juice ?
Thanks !
