Reputation Change

I was going to make this an announcement, but decided it might be better to allow discussion on it...

A month or two ago I tweaked the reputation system to allow for a more aggressive point spread. In doing so, I forgot to adjust the Promotion system which allows for a user with reputation of X to turn theirs off.

Rather than being able to turn off reputation at 500, it can now be shut down at 5000. A better number, in my own opinion, as anyone at 5000 reputation is beyond repute and certainly deserves to have it shut off.

Any objections? (anyone angry? sorry....;))

no objections from me boss, you should give anyone with 5K in points some cool title like Opigod or something like that for their mastery of the forum.

Power is the value you can give or take away from someone's points.

The taking away part is gone again. Now you can only give positive points and apparently everyones power has gone way down. I think this was done to make it harder to get to five thousand. Otherwise it wouldn't take very long seeing that some of us had power close to two-hundred.

Ahhh! i get it....so they both should slowly go up as time goes on.....hopefully,lol
