Yeah, I've got dictionary.com up during my posting! Spellcheck is so much quicker and easier though...

Who cares man. When I'm typing something out, if I can't spell it I just wing it and spell it the best I can. It's not like we are turning this in and the mods are grading it for spelling and punctuation... or are they?
Oh shit, they are gonna mark me down for all those run on sentences.

Is there still interest in this? I took it down when we were on my Windows server. Now that we're on a linux, I think it would work much better. What say you?

I myself would be interested in spell check seeming I type so fast and sometimes barely have time to go through my post again I think this would work out great Bi11i

I used to use it but sometimes I spell so bad that it was the wrong word.

I'll see what I can find out. I've been using IESpell, which checks just about anything on the web, but will see about an O-phile checker...

It would be cool, but weren't there some issues with CPU usage already?

I always go back and re-read my posts for misspellings and punctuation mistakes and all that jazz---yet mistakes still get through. I know how to spell, but I can't type worth a shit. I'm a two finger 'hunt & peck' typist---so I guess I vote 'Aye' for a spell-check option.
As an aside, I'm so jealous of my wife--she's a secretary by trade, and man, you should see her fingers fly on the keyboard. I think I'd probably post a lot more here and over at JL if I could type as fast. One post on my JL blog is usually a 3-4 hour commitment. :(

Spellchecker be in place. I added as many opiate-related words to the dictionary as I was able to come up with. If you come across any that need to be added, please list them here and I'll add them as time allows --OR-- You can use the 'Learn' button. Keep in mind that words learned are learned for all - don't learn up a word that means totally nothing as you'll be teaching it to everyone else. (Stop that shit, quit spreading disinformation, you bastard.)

I love the spell check idea, at least for those who want it.
We have to add fukken to the dictionary, I love the way DD spells that!

np, I got rid of the thesaurus button. Opened up about 50 pop-ups in the process. If anyone wants this, I'll figure out a way to make it happen again....

So is the spell check working? If it is I can't figure out how to use it, I can't even find a spell check button. Quick Reply or advanced. Damn, the drugs are starting to take there toll.

Even if it ain't, superjunky, Firefix 2.0 (holy shit hows that for a fitting typo, im gonna leave it) has a spell checker built in.

nah, i removed it. wasn't getting much use and with all the vb upgrades, was a pain in the arse to maintain.
do we need it back?

I liked having it but if I can get a spell check plug in and manage it myself I'll do that. It would be cool but if its a major pain there would need to be more than just me wanting it to justify the trouble.
