i know this doesn't have much to do with opiates, except indirectly, but i just thought that this might interest some people. there is a new article by rober kennedy jr. about the election fraud in 2004. i say the fraud because there is no doubt that shady things happened. the only thing open to argument is to what extent. i know everyone's going to have pretty strong opinions about this issue, if they have any opinion at all. anyway, it's a pretty important article, calling attention to the muted, but persistant mutterings that have been taking place since the day after the election. here's the link:

oh, and by the way - something that has even less to do with drugs. but if you're interested in the above, this might interest you as well. there is evidence pointing to, and articles being written about the election in mexico being rigged. there is some scandalous business involving the fbi, choicepoint (a company that supplies electronic voting machines, also, by chance, a big Bush financial contributer) and the mexican police (who arrested a couple of choicepoint employees).

in any event, it's quite curious that the same movers and shakers end up in the center of strange questions and accusations in two different, yet eerily similar elections.
