actual cost of methadone?

Does anyone know how much methadone actually costs for the doctors/clinics that supply it? I'm just curious as to how much I was getting ripped of at my local clinic when I was on meth.

I just found out that an 8mg suboxone pill costs $4 and the clinics around here are dosing people on it for almost $30 per day.

well i remember it being 30$ or so per week to keep on getting daily dosed.
and methadose.....shit@4 a day 120 dose daily 4 / 40 mg biscuits, plus doctor visit fer the scripti think my costs average out to 1$ per biscuit....wow i never broke it down this far kewl wow thats alot chealer then i might of thought originaly.deff cheaper then bags of heroin and the freaking drudgery of going and getting in and out. dealers suck, the dope sucks it all sucks.but back to the original disscussion yeah it's all about the money for most of these clinics especially the private ones

Methadone there was only $15 per day, no matter what dose you were at. It was the sub that was ridiculously expensive.

I'm going to be getting back on sub soon, and since I have insurance I've opted to just go to a real doc and get a script, but damn they're flaky. It's almost like trying to get a hold of a dealer on their day off...no actual phone, only voicemail, and they might call you back before they go home for the day.

im also interested in the prices of methadone clinics for daily doses. 15 a day is kinda crazy, is this the average around the united states, what about the mid-west?

im looking into going to a clinic to maintain my addiction however it might be hard if the street drugs are cheaper.

I think it costs 30 cents for an 100 mg dose wholesale. My clinic is 60 dollars a week
