MMT to heroin

Alright, almost seven months into MMT, on 180mg daily, I still crave. They hassle me about going up. It takes four hours on the bus everyday round trip, and it's expensive. I want to use dope. I took my last dose at 11am, just three hours ago. Will 24 hours be enough time to allow me to use dope or do I need 36-48+? I wasn't ready to give up dope, I did it because of pressure, which isn't a good idea; however, I had just od'd, and I thought it might not be a bad idea. How long before I can use?

You mean before the methadone won't block the heroin? I think it would be a little longer than 24 hours, just because methadone has a pretty long half-life. If you only wait one day, you'll probably be able to feel it a little, but nowhere near what I'm sure you'd like to feel.

You will need to wait more like 3 or 4 days ..and by then youll be in WD's...Plus since you are on 180 mg's, you gonna need alot of heroin to stay well. I think going back on short acting opiates is a bad idea..But hey if you wanna cop illegal street dope everyday 2 or 3 times a day have at it.
