Generic Oxy Hell

Alright so i copped a couple of 80mg oxys, they are generic, an oblong green pill, "93" on one side "33" on the other. I dont know who manufactures them, i havent done a specific pill id on it yet. in any case i want to IV these. I notice when i add water that they gel up like the MS Contins. Now i used a shit ton of water, the needle exchange by me also gives away 3cc syringes for pills/noloxone/etc. Even with mass amounts of water they still gel up. I would need like 9cc's to dillute the entire thing.

Is there any way to break down the binders in a way so they dont gel up as much at least. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Im going out of town tomorrow and i want to get this taken care of before i gotta hit the road and start fucking around with oxygel.

This particular brand of generic OxyContin is made by TEVA Pharmaceuticals. It was actually the first generic to hit the market in the United States back in 2004. While I don't have any experience in the IV use of OxyContin (or any other drug for that matter), I can tell you that when I have insufflated the TEVA OC's, they will get gel up in my nose and cause the drug to lose about half of its potency. I'd have to assume the same holds true for IV use, though I do seem to remember one post where a guy said he would microwave them for a few seconds to overcome the gel factor. On this point, I would also be a bit leery of ruining the pill.

I hate to tell you this, since I am not a chemist or pharmaceuticals expert, but I would simply suggest taking the TEVA's orally, either whole or chewed up. However the things are made, they simply are not a good choice for intravenous or nasal delivery. At least not in my experience with them.

i got a reasonable shot out of it after taking less than a quarter of a pill, adding about 5 units or so of vinegar and a shit ton of water, let it boil a bunch, worked but its a whole lot of dilluting that has to happen. I know im gonna have to do only like an 8th to a quarter of a pill at a time and thats using the 3cc rigs.

i tried to look in the forum for booting teva 80's, did a search, didnt find much conclusive evidence, enless its the one about "generic oxy" or whatever as the subject.

I have had these types of generics before and generaly are not very desireable. I have found that they are very difficult sniff because of how gummy they get. I am pretty sure that this is because of they add SO2 as a filler. Silicon Dioxide binds to the opiate molocule and keeps it from absorbing all the way into the blood stream. I had heard that the SO2 will clog both needle and vein but as I never IV I wouln't really know. My buddy who does slam says he will never shoot anything but regular brand name OCs.

sniffing them isnt that bad. Make sure the inside of your nostril is dry. They will gel, but it seems like it releases into your nose after a little while. Also you can seperate the little pieces that wont turn into fine powder. Just sprinkle the powder onto a piece of paper tilted at a slight angle and the pieces will roll to the bottom. much like seperating seeds from herb. Make a little fold at the bottom of the paper to catch the hard pieces. Then you can eat them, or whatever. This seems to cut down on the gell factor.

I like those OK... but then again I take my oxy oraly most of the time(i ONLY snort oxy in form of Roxi 30s).

How do you get apst the gelling up shit? Get some HOT water(really hot) and throw the pill in(like 30-50mL), let this sit for 1-2hrs stiring alot keeping it hot(electric eye, lowest setting), then pour through a coffe filter, then with the cup of your remaining liquiid let evap down till it's all you want in desired shot. Then pour into spoon and add filter, draw up, bang.

This is how I do when friends had them and wanted to snort, and I just said the alst part as what I'd assume you'd do for shooting, but that method will get rid of the gel shit.

This guy is on the right track. I have access to the Tevas a lot, and so I have snorted a TON of them. I used to get the gelling a lot, until I figured out the best method that I know of (and that is fairly simple, I don't want to do a whole chemistry experiment every time I wanna snort a pill).

Here's how I do it: First off, you wanna crush up the pill the best that you can do. I used to use the tails side of a quarter and grind the pill up on a dollar bill (the bill gives you more of a rough surface to help "grab" the bits of pill as you grind them). This doesn't do a bad job, but I prefer now to use a flattened metal hose clamp, which works like a cheese grater. That thing gets the finest powder of any method I've used, and that's what you're after here. Once you get it all into powder, take the very end of the pill (that you can't get through the hose clamp without trashing your hands) and any chunks that broke off as you were shredding the pill, and use a quarter to grind them up, adding the resulting powder to your pile.

Then, just like the quote above says, you need to separate any bigger pieces out. These are almost spherical little pieces that are very hard and refuse to grind up. This seems to be where most of the gelling comes from. So, make sure that you get ALL of these pieces out, and just eat 'em. Now, you should just be left with the fine powder...snort it into a clean and dry nostril, and you should be in pretty good shape. About a half hour or an hour later, you'll wanna give your nose the ol' "farmer's blow" where you hold one nostril shut and blow the other one clean. You'll get *some* gelled-up oxysnot crap that you can eat (unless you're afraid of eating a snot-like substance, I'm not, mmm, oxysnot)...but not nearly as much as if you did a crappy job grinding the pill and didn't separate out the ungrindable pieces. These Tevas aren't great by any means but you CAN make the best of them and they will certainly get the job done. This method combined with the "crisping" method of heating them up might give you a shootable result, but I don't IV so I'm not sure.
