Im not sure if many have heard of this, it came out few years back
since I missed the showing at our lil. downtown theatre & the trailer made it
look so badass I bought the set (don't think each film can be had alone)..

Generally speaking not very good films, not so well paced.. still have enough
realism & the shit that goes down is interesting enough to a lover of eveything narcotica..
Takes place in Copenhagen I believe , the H is going for well $700 Kroner a G bulk+
& they try to make it like a camrea is following the main characters, divided into days
of the week sorta..

The first film is basically about Frank & his sidekick Tonny, they drive around doingstupid
shit & run into a deal, some Swede wantin' few hundred gramos "brown suga'" hehe..
Anyway they make the arrangement & ofcourse everything goes terribly wrong.. there is a
scene with the lake which just made me cringe..if you see it you'll understand..

anyway I'll stop blathering on..the other two are less exciting but still about same established
characters in the future..It's true how they make the comparison to Sopranos & thats ok for
a tv drama, but this is suppose to be more, large production but it feels exactly like just an
episode of a made-for-tv thing..

still after having showed this to a coke dealer friend of mine
he said it's grungy but still "this is how it is in my world"

tru, but im an awesome sprinter & if I knew what the loss of this shit would mean..

I don't get the whole papers thing that Milo asks him about & why the cops didn't
give him shit. I am guessing the story they fed him about Tonny was a lie as well.

We talked about this briefly in a thread a few weeks ago: Titled something like:

Movies about drug use.

I mentioned the first two Pusher movies, then someone said, hey, there's a third one out there about Milo.

I've seen it since then, on Sundance.

I think the movies are filmed as if they were documentaries, hand held cameras following the lads.

Good, grungy view of that life!

I liked watching all of them.I didn't know that there was a part 1 or 3,I saw part 2 on IFC and when I did a google search the results came up for the trilogy for sale, I brought it and enjoyed all 3 of them.Pretty good flicks and I don't mind the subs either.

Just curious, if there was a Pusher 2, did you not think that possibly there was a Pusher part 1 ?? :)

Good call, I'm not a very good smart ass, as you can tell.

I didn't know the pusher movies had sub-names--cool!

'The Plugger Trilogy' :

Plugger 1 - Lubing-up your suringe makes you Gay!

Plugger 2 - Blood on my hands (uncontrollably dripping crap in my pants?)

Plugger 3 - My silent farts smell like death

like most threads my hope is it winds up in teh butt speak..
just like in digestion , a thread has its life progress as the blous
which passes through the gastro-intestinal ;-)

I saw them recently as they became available on netflix Watch Instantly.

I liked them for sure, but I think the first one was most able to hold my interest. The other two were okay but didn't really hold up to what they should have been, following the first one. Of course if gratuitous (sp?) violence is your thing then the third one will certainly hold up.
