Dope solidifying in the rig?

Now first things first: I've never had to deal with tar in my life, in fact I've never even seen it. I guess you could get it here if you wanted to but everyone I know who lives round here has always used powder. So i don't even know much about differences in H, I've learned some things from reading the boards here but since I never really needed the knowlege i guess, what I've learned wasn't much. So here's the question part:

The powder here is always fine, almost white, with that little yellowish shade to it, but a really light shade. Now a buddy of mine, a couple of months ago has gotten himself a new dealer. I don't use him cuz our old guy is way closer to where I live.
But this one time I was chillin' with my buddy when he was picking up. Now I'm one of those people who doesn't like to use too much water ( for IV that is) so the most I ever put is like 30 cc. But here's the weired part the dope that that new guy sells comes in rocky form. It pretty hard, but when you crush it up it looks kinda like the stuff we get from our old guy exept it's more greyish then yellowish, but the colour's not the point ( i could even be wrong since I've only seen it once or twice)

The thing is, if you don't put alot of water in that dope when cooking, it will solidify in the rig withing seconds. When it happend I was like: WTF? And my buddy was like: oh it happens when you don't put alot of water in (that time the rig had to be cut open and the dope recooked with more water.)

And what do you know? Whenever he puts alot of water...the dope acts fine. Now with the old stuff that has never happend. I'm sure there is an explanation that i don't know due to my ignorance :D But I really want to know how that works.

try putting boiling water in a cup and put your rig in, sometimes this un-solidifys it...

Thanks, but I have no problem unsolidifying it, I wanna know if anyone knows why it happens, like whats different bout that dope?

I've gotten dope recently where as soon as I filtered, and went to register in my forearm, its solidified and I was unable to do anything with it. I couldn't eject it through the needle, what I ended up doing; was lighting the actual rig with a lighter, like I would cook up in a spoon. The heat liquified it enough for me to be able to pour it out thru the bottom when I pulled the plunger out the barrel.

I was confused by this; and ended up chalking it up as a nasty cut. When I mixed with water, it wouldn't mix all the way or even at all if I remember, so I broke out the ole' bic and torched it up a bit-- I guess I took too long from heating to filtering through the cotton, and it wouldn't go thru the cotton into the rig, really fuckin' wacky cut. Also the potency of that particular batch, was basically bunk. 2/10 Thumbs down fer sherrrr.

Same thing here, exept I just cut the part with the actual needle off and pushed it out with the plunger. Had no problem recooking it and my buddy said it's always like that+ it was desent stuff, not shitty...go figure...:confused:

+50 Needless to say, that was the one and only time I copped that garbage. Made sure my mans knew about it too, he's a non-IV'er, and also complained about it.
