Safe to eat old cottons?

Is it safe to eat old cottons? About a month old... along with whatever morphine/binders/fillers didn't dissolve from that hit.

on the sick and hurting side, disgusting as it is, long as they're dry - with nothing black or slimy on them, no mildew scent.....

at least that was my criteria for shooting them.

i did get sick, too many times, but i'm thinking stomach acid would prevent cotton fever.

Shooting them is way different to eating them. Wont do u any harm to eat them, but i'd be suprised if it did anything good for you either - maybe in your mind..

I'd do some research first. I've heard a few (unsubstantiated) stories of people having serious stomach problems from eating benzedrine cottons (which are about as big as a cotton ball), which according to them, resulted in surgery.

Personally, I'd wash them and drink the liquid if at all a possibility, it would probably absorb quicker (though taste nastier) and you wouldn't have to worry about cotton clogging something important in your digestive tract. Not that this would be 100% safe, but I don't see any downside if you wash the cottons a couple of times (you could obviously use more water than if you planned on shooting).

Answer- kind of, when one is using a needle and IV'ing their drug - its a safe practice to use small bit of cottonball (think like Q-tip size) as a "FILTER" to pull your lquidified drugs through. FILTERS out big nasties and some pills inactive stuff ,talc etc, also will leave some of thee GOOD DRUGS in cotton filter.

My main concern is getting sick from the endotoxin remaining in the cotton. Will the stomach destroy the endotoxin or will it be absorbed?

I just don't want to be sick, we just had a first snow of the winter and I'm fucking hurting w/o meds - with w/d just setting in. It has a smell, and maybe even a slight off white discoloration... I won't IV from this given the obvious reasons.

It's a mix of both dilaudid,morphine. I used to add hydromorphone, morphine & oxymorphone to a single shot.. fucking awesome.

it's maybe 5 cottons, remenants of 15 pills. 9 morphine, 5 dilaudid or so.

and no matter how many times we tell people, in detail'd descriptions, you don't get cotton fever from cotton, it's persistently ask'd along with the thriving belief cotton fibers are the reason for cotton fever.

there are people who swear up and down a cotton particle is what made them sick......so, wadda ya dau?

Yes it would be completely safe. Why wouldn't you squirt some water on them and boil and bang? When I was heavy IV'ing for years I would save the cottons until I ran out. The best way to get a killer hit is to have several wetted, heat and squeeze juice out into spoon. Drop in new cotton filter and bang. Also when you are shooting - to initially save cottons do not completely drain them. leave a little goodness inside. let it crystallize is a clean locating and when you have several (5+) saved, enjoy.

probably if you chase it with a shot or two of alcohol, alcohol plus your stomach enzymes should destroy any bacteria or virii.
