Anyways, I was curious about this. So a common problem while in withdrawal with males is spontaneous ejaculation/nocturnal emissions. I've had similar experiences.

Personally, when I'm in w/d if I were to have sex I'd be worthy of the nickname "the minute man."

I think the spontaneous ejaculation comes about because opiate addicts (when they're really on a run especially) tend to lose interest in sex or even masturbation. When I was deep into smack I think I had sex and/or jerked off maybe 1-2x per week tops. So, a man's body makes all this semen and since one becomes hypersensitive when in w/d I guess it kind of makes sense that a man could ejaculate with very little, if any stimulation at all.

I will say this: ejaculation does provide a short-lived relief from w/d but it lasts only about as long as a good hit of coke for me.

P.S. Why is there any shame in feeling good (especially if it involves only you and your body)? About people feeling better after sex when dope sick there is obviously a neurological reason for this. When one has an orgasm beta-endorphin is released which obviously is an endorphin and binds mostly to the mu receptor, hence it is very rewarding/euphoric. I remember this being discussed years ago in a Sexual Psychology class in college - the professor specifically said the relaxing/eurphoric effects after orgasm is due "release of this tiny drop of a neurochemical that is x times more potent than morphine." The reason that the relief does not last long is that beta-endorphin is rapidly metabolized. SWINM really only gets a pronounced w/d relieving effect peaking almost instantly and rapidly declining to almost no relief after an hour at the absolute most.
One way to potentially increase the duration of endogenous endorphins is to take DPA (dextrophenylalanine). There was a thread where people were talking about effects of opiates seemingly being potentiated after drinking diet cola. The reason for this is that the sweetener in diet sodas is Aspartame which is a methyl ester of phenylalanine and aspartic acid dipeptide. This gets metabolized into phenylalanine which directly causes opiate like effects and potentiates opiates due to dextrophenylalanine preventing metabolism of enkephalins. I am unsure whether beta-endorphin is one of the endorphins that's metabolism is prevented by DPA but SWINM feels the effects of orgasm are definitely lengthened if taking DPA. Sorry for getting off topic I think I will make a separate thread dedicated to DPA.
