This is a video made by an ex-cop about how to avoid the tricks cops will try to play and get you to waive your rights.
Watching this video could save your ass from illegal searches...Click the link I posted to watch the full length movie.

Pretty shitty acting, but I like the video....informational. +1
-but the guy who made the video was not a cop, he was the President or something of the ACLU for a while
Good post...I am watching this now.
HaHaHa worst acting ever....one by one theyre like "Dammnit!! Crap!!! Oh this really sucks!!" when the cop pulls them over and theyre eating pork rinds ahahahaha.

This is a good video and everything, BUT basically, if you have drugs on you, you're fucked. This happened to me before and I declined a search, the cop just brought out the K9 unit and they found what they were after. Because the dog is considered an "officer" and there is a plain site clause saying if something illegal is in plain site or could be smelled then cops have the right to execute a search. AND once they find anything illegal, even some seeds and stems, THEN they have the right to tear the shit apart.
Is that enrique iglesias in the back seat asking for pork rinds?

We had a discussion about this YEARS ago.
You can see it here (http://forum.opiophile.org/showthread.php?t=3278).

Good information.
In the real world, without your own video surveillence (sp?) to document the encounter, the cop(s) could simply say:
"The subject consented to the search." (even if they didn't).
And even with your own video, the cops would likely seize it, and erase, or lose, the video tape/ memory card.
Lots of tricks....
:" Help me, help you son. I cannot help you if you don't tell me _______."

In the real world,I'd NEVER mention my rights to cops-if you do life just gets more difficult, just be polite, say nothing and ask for legal aid.
EDIT,Jonny,I don't think this is the same material as I posted about in the thread you linked to.

This is my favorite video, it explains why you should NEVER talk to police and is done by a professor and ex defense attorney as well as a police officer:

I'm not sure if this vid has been brought up here before.
This vid. is mainly geared to MJ detection.
The video covers alot of searches with drug dogs.It explains how they are trained to detect, and areas where they aren't supposed to be able to detect as well as the simplest detectable areas.
Personally if I had a shitload of stuff in my car I'm not sure if I would trust the video 100 % BUT I would definately stash things where and how the vid says is the hardest for dogs to detect.
BTW-Pretty kool vid Drew!!!
