very slow extended time release sought

I was just thinking about we go to great lengths to break down the timed release common in so many medications. Stand that on it's head and please help me to do the opposite. I want to put 5 Extacy tablets in some compound that will time release through a period of 12 hours.

I don't even know where to start. Is it even possible?

I don't have any good ideas, but have you done a patent search? Someone may have already published enough info on a DIY-able system.

Or just take a tab every 2.4 hours, or half a tab every 1.2 hours...

Edit: I guess I missed something if there are dogs involved.

I'm actually eating some of those bluebell little cheese wheels, and they're wrapped in an food safe wax...if you have some time to experiment with a half pill or even a few quarter pills (dunno how good your beans are) then maybe you could fool around with crushing up the tabs and squishing them around in the wax, and just dropping the wax containing all x number of pills....

....Could be risky though-hence the experimentation.

I mean, in concept this'd work-it's how oxycontin works, maybe see what kind of wax they use in their tabs and find an analogue?

Remember a few weeks ago we were discussing Purdues new unabusable oxys? Somebody who's supersmart, linked to their patent application, and as I remember, the method was relatively simple. Heating up and cooling down, after adding some fucked up polymer to the pills.

Worth a search. Though, why don't you just dose every 4 or 6 hours and save yourself the effort?

This is a timed safe that will only open with the code every 2.4 hours... effectively stopping drug dogs from getting your goods, and prolonging the dose to last all day :D

Lat time I bought a safe from Jonny, at exactly midnight little legs shot down from under it, it got up AND RAN AWAY NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN, WITH MY OC40IES INSIDE!!!

If you need a for sure, slow release method, I suggest putting you pills in a lot of water, freezing it, and let the resulting giant ice cupe melt in the middle of your livingroom.

I was thinking of this very slow time release idea as a way to end opioid addiction.

Think about it, you could swallow a pill of some long acting opioid that would slowly release decreasing amounts into your blood over a course of like 2 weeks. You would be withdrawal free and off opioids at the end of the two weeks.

I think the beads inside the Adderall XR's are what makes it time released. I may be wrong though

nah, you right. they're covered with (again) wax. we gotta figure out what kind of wax they use. seems pretty common.
