what dosage do you take and/or have seen?

i have seen just about every pharm drug on the market on the street...
expect for these little bastards..OPANA ER'S..
the only reason for the fact that i do see them is, because im prescribed them.
so im wondering the people that are scripted them what is the dose?
or what have you came across on the street?
also what do, or i should say.. if someone you know does take a break though meds
with it, what will it be?
i know this could be kind of personal so so if it is.. just please disregard.
im curious to what doctors, or how they feel on this drug?
like i see doctors scripting 80's like candy.
but to anwser my own question..it opana 15mgs 3 tid w/hydro 7.5 4tid.

Kind of interesting and on topic for me as my PM took me off oxy and put me on opana Er 20mg twice a day. She said that was a little higher to the conversion of the oxy as I was taking 20mg four times a day. She said oxy makes people jittery and anxious (Hello! Thats me) But since I've been on oxy for 10 years I'm wondering.....Was the oxy making me an anxious wreck? I'll let you guys know. I've never been a huge fan of morphine but maybe with the bit of oxy in it it'll work out. I' ve never heard of Opana before I met you guys here on opio. I was nauseas last night and I slept for 2 hours. It kind of wired me..:confused:Plus I've got this horrendous headache. Do you get headaches from it?

I started out at 10mg bid, went up to 15mg after a couple of months, and then 20mg after a couple more.

I'm prescribed various other meds for my condition, but no strong breakthrough opioids. It's a shame really, because it gives me a legitimate excuse to self medicate.

I was (only supposed to be) taking tramadol when my pain doc first gave me Opana ER. I knew exactly what it was and had to resist the urge to grin when she said the name.

I'm currently scripted 2 10mg Opana ER's a day with vicodin for bt pain...but a few months ago I was scripted 2 20mg then it got upped to 2 30mg with oxycodone for bt pain. My dr wants me on the Opana IR for bt pain but my insurance is currently refusing to cover that.

I know they cannot be injected but do any of you insnuffilate them or get some form of a buzz? It's just I have heard that they are great if you snort enough from some, where others say they are worthless.

i think people say their worthless cuz their nothing like a codone buzz, but way more of a body type /or morphine type of high. thier not speedy at all

I was scripted 2 40's 3x's daily and 3 30mg roxi's a day. I thought they were great for pain. Railing them is great but your tolerance will sky rocket quickly. I also agree that the Opana/Oxy combo is a good one. Opana IR isn't bad either if you shoot. Otherwise, stick with the Oxy if you can get it for BT pain.

2 40 ERs a day plus 6 10mg IR The one thing that I noticed is that the ER's truly last 12 hours (or clost to it) the Oc's on the other and last me 6-8 and the very most....

I get prescribed 5mg Opana IRs, hopefully that will be upped soon though. I'm so glad I have the IRs though, I had no idea how lucky I was when I got prescribed these. I also take oxycodone, and they go great together when you mainlne them :D

I've never seen any form of Opana on the street though.

I was started out 10mg ER 2x a day, with hydro 10's for BT. Went back to the Dr. a week later, told him I had to take 4 of the 10mg at a time to get relief, so he put me on the 40mg ER. Good doctor, except he absolutely refuses to prescribe oxys... The feds are cracking down on doctors here in Indiana, guess he doesn't want to be the next target....
Anyway, the Opana works very well for the pain, but doesn't give you that burst of energy like oxys....sigh.......for that, I eat my 4 hydro 10's all at once before I head off to work.

I get #60 20mg ER's/month, along with #60 30mg mscontins and #60 10/325 percs for BT. my PM doc first tried a combo of the 300mg Ultram-ER and soma, after a week I went back and said it wasn't helping...bam, straight to the opana. after a few months i complained of diminishing effectiveness, and the mscontin was thrown in the mix...i was hoping for a bump up on the Opana scrip, but I won't complain.
