My girlfriend was very upset and still is..the other day she got a text message from an old friend of her's that her boyfriend had overdosed...her friend and her boyfriend had been addicts, and started when my girlfriend stopped having contact with them for various reasons including their drug use. Her friend and her boyfriend had gotten clean and as I never met them, never knew the dynamic of their relationship. However, she appartently broke up with him and that led him to use again. He appartently overdosed only using one bag. I say this becasue my girlfriend said it to me over and over "one bag" as to subtly illustrate the point to ME..anyway I don't know much about his condition but I do know he is in Intensive care, and on a respirator and was on dialysis...when I say "I do know" this only means this is the information I was told by my girlfriend who was told by her friend who both are not health professionals..I know this has hit my girlfriend hard for many reasons and the most singificant is the fact that I am an addict, and even though on subs, I could be in a similiar position, I hope that I can be strong for her and myself to not make her go through what she went through again, but if I find myself at the end of a gun I will do my best to be careful, as I couldn't put her through that...
Anyway, if any of you are religious I would appreciate prayers for him, I never met the kid and wouldn't cry if he died, but I don't want to see ANYONE DIE from this, and it's hard for me to say that for reasons I have posted before that I won't repeat as they don't make me look like the nicest guy...
