IV Morphine dosage/trade/coke/desktop/blah.txt

A friend had an oppourtunity to trade a g of blow for a couple vials of morphine (2mg and 6mg). my friend got to thinking that with a 100+mg oxy tolerence. that amount of mso4 aint gonna do shit abd it certainly isnt worth the $50 the g cost him.

from what ive gathered 20mg would be a decent shit of morph for a person with my friends tolerence. ive noticed they give 2-4mg iv in a hospital setting.

it be cool to have hospital grade morph but im not sure its worth the trouble.

what do yall think?

and from what i read here people are crushing up numerous 30mg morph pills and shooting them. is there a difference between hospital amps and pills?

not like it matters too much. my friend brought the blow to work and decided to have a morning pick me up and we all know where thats headed.

i bet he could still get the morph, his friend is cool like that and get them all the time.

im worried about him though.

A mg is a mg. The difference is that one is prepared specifically for injection, while the other is prepared to be taken orally. The bioavailability is much different - oral being WAY lower. I don't have that info in front of me, but it is on here in several places.

Do a google search for narcotic conversion. It can give you a rough idea of how much oxy = how much morphine.

looks like hed need 50mg IV to equal 100mgs oral oxycodone. shit thats a lot of vials. and a big ass rig.

Just as a mg is a mg, morphine sulfate is morphine sulfate. Whether it's prepared for injection or prepared to be taken orally, if you inject an oral preparation its going to give (probably a bit less, but not that much) the same effect. Injecting 20mg of oral prep is the same as injecting 20mg of iv prep morphine sulfate. And yes, 20mg is a good dose for someone who has no tolerance. If he has a tolerance of about 100mg oxy orally, then ya probably 60mg would be a good shot. If you're dead set on using vials, then you should probably find one with a higher concentration, because putting that much liquid into you is never a good thing. If you don't really care then just use pill and crush it up and prep it to shoot.

Damn, hope it really IS a friend, cause I'd hate to see a fellow opiophile ripping himself off like that.
Guess he got the wrong kind of vials. It comes in different strengths, I've seen 1mg pr 1ml amps and vials, and 10mg pr 1 ml. So if you ever have to have surgery or something, don't worry, it's not necessarily a lot of vials ;)
