Yes, plugging is great. But instead of sticking the whole syringe up there, the best thing to do is attach a short length of silicone tubing to the syringe's tip, a piece as long as your finger works great. 2.0 mm bore tubing with a 2.0 mm wall works the best (4.0 mm diameter with 2.0 mm hole). But they sell silicone airline tubing in aquarium stores, it's a bit thinner and harder then the soft silicone tubing from scientific places, but it also works well.

I generally use a 10 mL syringe, and fill it with about 6 mL solution, then I fill the rest of the syringe with air. To use it I laying down on the floor on a towel, with my legs resting up on the bed. Becuase there's air in the syringe, when I press the plunger down, the air forces all the solution down the tubing, so there isn't more then a drop or two of leftover liquid caught in the tube.

Some opiates work better plugged...in my experience most don't though. Morphine happens to be one that does work better plugged...due to it's shitty (no pun intended) oral bioavailability. The first time I ever had morphine pills (I had had it in IV the hospital before that, but in smaller doses), I ended up plugging 60mg powdered and dissolved in hot water and was fucking LIT. I had no tolerance at the time. Probably the hardest nod I've ever had. My body had massive waves of that "numbing static" feeling all over.

My guess was that the hot water would break down the gel in the morphine sulphate, which I have not tried because I thought it was said that heat was bad for morphine. But hot water I'm guessing will not affect the potency but high heat will. By the way the cold water didn't reject anything, reject.

But it prob won't work on the gelling. Tried myself, no dice.

You need to lay on your side after you plug, otherwise there definitely could be some leakage.

And unless you're plugging like a liter of ice-cold water, your butt just warms it up, really quickly. Last I checked, nobody was throwing their liter sized butt-plug rigs in the freezer prior to use.

Laying of your right side could cause added liquids to pool at the entrance (well, actually the exit point).

Anyways, the problem with leakage isn't to do water temperature, but not getting the liquid far enough inside. There's 2 sphincters, the outer one, and the inner one about 4 inches up from it. If you don't get the liquid past the inner sphincter, then it will leak out.

That's why when I plug, I attach piece of silicon tubing, about the same length as my middle finger, to the end of the syringe. Once the lubricated tubing is inside the inner sphincter, I can feel it, and then push the plunger down.

If plugging room temperature or colder water, I can feel it when I plug it. Or warm to the touch water, I can also feel. But if using luke-warm water that doesn't feel either hot or cold, when plugging that, I can't feel the water, but I sure can feel it when whatever I plugged kicks in.

And actually, plugging too hot or too cold water will make your body want to expel it. But the volume of most plugging talked about here is too low to really cause this. If you plug 100 mL of warm or cold cactus tea, then you'd know what I'm talking about. Which is why I don't recommend plugging solutions above 6 mL, because with 6 mL or less, then temperature and retention problems aren't really an issue.
