Tramadol+MDMA: Any synergy / danger

I always forget that Trams are an SSRI and it's too late now.

100 mg Tramadol + multiple :) tablets.

Any seratonin issues I need to worry about ? (I just started on Tramadol for my taper). I'm hoping for an enhanced empathogenic, painless buzz :cool: without :mad:.

found this study http://bja.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/reprint/96/6/678.pdf and on pg681,on the right hand column, it says there may be some basis for serotonin syndrome between mdma and tramadol.

Within the normal therapeutic tramadol dosage range (100mg every 4-6 hrs) and assuming your metabolism is normal, I really doubt you need to worry about serotonin syndrome. Especially since you just started on tram. A bigger concern is that both drugs lower your seizure threshold, but again, you're not taking a large dose of tramadol and it sounds like there hasn't been time for much of the drug to accumulate in your body. (In my unprofessional opinion, I think the tramadol seizure issue is overhyped.) An even bigger concern is that "E" tablets often contain unknown and potentially dangerous substances. A test kit is always a good thing.

But that's all theoretical and you posted this a while ago. I hope you had a pleasant roll :)

A couple of days ago I bought 4 little white pills with an imprint of what looked like tulips on them
they were sold to me as "ecstasy" in a pub by a stranger who told me not to take more than one at a time
I asked why not -he said "they are really strong" (but then , they all say that, every damn dealer i've met - some were honest, most were exhagerating the strength/quality of their product)

so I decided to double drop anyway
and after about 30 minutes when starting to feel the effects I took a 3rd one

after about 40 minutes I started to feel 'em, but it sure wasn't mdma
It actualy felt like some strong psychedelic

after about an hour or so everything started to get crazy and I realized i was tripping, and pretty damn hard too

I decided to get a cab home cause the company i was in wasn't too clued up on what was happening to me

I really don't think it was Acid, (plus - I have swallowed the pills, not let them melt in my mouth like blots or dots) it was different and more intense at certain stages, then letting go a bit
It sort of reminded me of 2-CB that I took once before, only much more intense and this time it was in pill form, not a powder

Point is - There could be anything in the damn pills they sell as extasy, especially these days
The night wasn't *too* bad but it was a little sketchy at times, especially since i was expecting a euphoric ecstasy buzz but ended up tripping pretty damn hard

once i got home it only intensified
Some of the visuals i got were out of this world though - the reproduction of Dali's picture i have on my wall became 3-d and alive and everything was moving in it and coming at me, and the "fruit dish" that looks like a face was constantly changing its' demeanor - from a happy clown's face to an extremely evil one to a sad one to a decomposing face and as I was looking at it it was coming closer and closer, almost sucking me in
The faces on tv were also morphing and when i saw someone with their eyes closed I could see the eyeballs rotating in and out constantly
weird substance, whatever it was - pretty damn "demonic" at times, but at certain stages I could think a lot clearer than I have in years and I just wish I could pin-point what I have witnessed that night because it did seem pretty significant at the time, and although for the most part it wasn't pretty I would do it again, given the chance..

just an aside, and sorry for derailing again too-but you don't have to hold acid in your mouth for it to be effective. It just seems that with it laid on blotter and in drops and so forth that it's common sense to lay it on your tongue, but I guess I'm just saying it *could* have been lsd as well, however unlikely.

Putting 2c phenethylamines in rolls is awful-because just like you, people want to actually roll, and if they have a tolerance or have lost the magic, that means dropping anywhere from 2-10 pills-something that could really cause damage if it were something like 2c-t-7 or 2c-t-2 or fuck, even one of the db-fly's or dox's....awful awful.
