I got it yesterday and am almost done, it is a quick read and I can tell by reading it that he had serious help with the actuall writing of the book, but I could care less, he's a skater, not a writer, the stories are good, but I was really surprised about the parts on recovery were excellent...

PS--I am so used to being on this site that when he was saying street names and neighborhoods where he used to score I was thinking to myself "He's breaking the rules!!!" then I remembered it was book and not opiophile LOL

Finished it last night, I was surprised how well written it was, but I guess tha tcame from co-authro Joe Frantz, but overall it was a pretty good book, the parts on recovery were much better than I have read in other books of this ilk...anyways good book, not worth 22 blucks but...

I would love to read this book, but haven't had the money to actually go out and buy it. I've had a borders gift card for a while now when I graduated from rehab they gave me one for $15 along wtih a narcotics anonymous blue book. I guess the $15 was to get more recovery material. well I ended up getting the 50th anniversary of "Junky" by william S. Burroughs, not a bad read. but I could only get that one and I had to get it sent to the store adn pick it up beacause I coudln't get anthing else cheaper. I think I got dreamseller down to like $15.42. wonder if I could've just ordered it and paid the $15 with the card and the rest in cash when it showed up, I jsut don't think they allow that.

I'd love to be able to buy the dreamseller book off ya cheap but I guess that wouldn't go over too goodon this board. guess I'll see if I can get it off ebay cheap. or maybe get my mom to get it for me for my one way plane ride to Tucson. thats waht Junky was for but it was a pretty short read and read it already when there was nothing on t.v. or no drugs in my system. did try to read it while fucked up on some diesel one night and just couldn't do it.
