Old marijuana... garbage can or smoke it?

Realllllly old. A couple few years. It still has the smell. Is it worthless? I know it'll be harsh as all hell, but does THC remain when it is dried and withered beyond recognition? Don't want to waste what was once good weed, after all! Note to self: remember where you hide things while the in-laws are babysitting and sleeping in your bedroom.

one time I had tried smoking some that had to have been from the 70s or 80s. it was very powdery but I did notice a mild effect. you could give it a shot, if it was stored in good conditions the worst that could happen is it won't be as potent or won't do anything.

If it's a lot then maybe grind it all up and add a few hundred mls. of isopropyl alcohol (available from the pharmacy here), shake and stir etc., leave for a few days, drain the greeny-black liquid and let it evaporate for a few more days. Be careful, it's flammable.

Then try to smoke the sticky residue (close to hashish). This is something I have done a few times before and it's worked. Tastes awful, tho'.

I wonder if isomerising works for pods ? Hmmm ...

I think the old thc. When not stored properly changes to cbd's or cbb 's. Or spmethong like that maybe some of the super smatt chemistry people will chime in. Bit I thinl either way you'll get high maybe not strong but something

Yeah I would give it a go - I have friends that have found nugs in the couch that were definitely from the twilight zone and they had no ill effect.

wanted to add that if it is 5 years old or less and was stored in ok conditions, it most definitely should still be somewhat potent.

Inlaws definitely didn't find it. I was in the car with the driver on the way to the airport to go meet my husband in FL. I remembered I had a box in my nightstand drawer of things not meant for the eyes of my husband's parents. Not that they'd snoop, but they'd have had a heart attack if they found that little box. The driver was kind enough to turn around so I could retrieve my forgotten contact lens case. I stuffed the box behind by wedding dress in my closet. I just found it this week.

long as it's been dry, it'll be all right. shit just turns to teeny pieces and powder over time.......smoked stuff 2 years old and got baked as all hell - cannot see a few more years making any difference unless it was ditch to begin with....

Knowing the pothead I am, I would smoke it without a doubt. Only once did I have to turn down old weed. Shit got mold on it somehow and was damn near unsmokeable. I think my friend ended up smoking some of it though.

I have had some chronic stored for 5 years in my super stash and smoke it and it works perfectly. Looks and smells great too. Glass jar w/ sealing grommet.

Gave up on rolling a joint. It was flying everywhere. Thought about misting it with water to weigh it down, then I just made a lame little bowl out of tinfoil. It was just fine. Don't recall it being any different than it was a few years ago. It was some particularly yummy stuff my brother grew. I'm having a nice relaxing evening enjoying an episode of the Sopranos now. I'm not a pot smoker and haven't touched it more than a few times... before my chronic health shit I'd live on alcohol and coke... the alcohol numbed the pain that I know take meds for.. and the coke.. well... we all know what that's for.
