We are all adults here, so I figure I would ask you guys and gals.

Can you still have an orgasm after you take opiates/opiods?

Also if anyone knows the scientific reason this happens please do share!

In the poll I differentiated between guys and girls because Im curious if affects women as well.

I usually can't have an orgasm for the life of me even if I have a low dose :[
Although for some reason it doesn't stop me from trying, I will be drenched in sweat, thirsty, tired, and still without an orgasm.

I can't comment on the science behind it... BUT from personal experience I can say, that YES I can orgasm even while heavily op'ed up. It takes longer, but it can be fuckin crazy. If I'm at the point where I'm pretty fucked up, the "build up" towards the finish is like competing waves of pleasure, between the opiates and the natural stuff goin on in my brain. A friend mentioned this same shit a while ago, and said the same thing as me. He claims that some people like to bang on H for this reason, because it prevents the dude from finishing too early. I should say that I've never done H, but just a shitload of pharms, and of course the tea. The type of opiate doesn't seem to matter when it comes to this.

If we're talking MDMA or some stimulants... than its nearly impossible for me. Yet I know this couple from work who claim they have the best sex on E, which I always thought was bullshit.

Well Jonny i will go ahead and tell ya.. when i first started experimenting/taking opiates (tabs, percocets, hydrocodone) it was damn near IMPOSSIBLE to have an orgasm..6 yrs. later things have changed a bit..

Now, for the most part, i can have an orgasm after using oxycontin/hydrocodone/fentanyl with little to no problems. However, the one that still gets me to this day is ... *drumroll*... Methadone; for some reason if i take any more than 30mgs of 'done, no matter how hard i try, an orgasm CANNOT be achieved.. And yes, it is very very fucking annoying. And chicks always wonder if something is wrong w/ me or if it something they are/aren't doing. But i know it's all due to the damn methadone.

Opiates and sex drive are eventually exclusive for the most part, obviously there are exceptions tho..

edit - didn't see the poll, it's possible, early in a habit shits like billet steel if you want it, problem is getting the nut.. Possible but lots of work and sore girls..

Things change as you age. I was strung out at 25 and dated an ex-junky for a year without tipping her off.. Keep doing dope and it'll start fucking with things, you (at least I) get worried and then quit and everything goes back to normal..

Yeah I've been on opiates regularly for about 5 years, and I never could get off (by myself or with my significant other)...

opiates and orgasms? yes please! if i'm really good 'n' high, it can take a little longer for me to get there, but they're really good when i do. i gotta agree w/ the idea about how sex is about the furthest thing from my mind if i'm strung out though. once it becomes all about the drugs and the chase, there's no time (or desire) left for sex or orgasms or anything else.

and i'm also one of those people that doesn't enjoy sex on any type of stim. a total turn-off to me.

when i was using them recreationally and never had a habit, shit was impossible. within a month of being on done and patches, my body adjusted completely and i was good to go. same with shittin.

it's just the libido that suffers gradually. the addition of benzos is what really killed libido though, shit works fine but i just don't feel nothin. i wager anything this what happened to burroughs and all them; junk robbed them of normal libido and shit has to find an outlet somehow, something way out there and stimulating in a different way. well, he might have had some of those tendencies pre-junk, bad example, but i think there's some truth to that.

When I have sex with my fiance without a condom I usually go about 35-45 minutes on average and about an hour on a real good night. if I have been doped up within the past seven to eight hours I can't finish. I can get it up, and I've tried going for 2.5 hours when she was super wasted one time and I just CAN"T finish no matter how horny I am and how bad I want to.

I chose the option "I can, but it takes a lot longer", because that is exactly how it is for me: It is possible for me to reach an orgasm when I'm doped up, but it is more of a.....how do you say... Hey man, I had that SAME problem the first couple times I did it, and it pissed me off to no end. Once I started going to places where a lot of the people were doing E though (you know, the E scene, festis, raves), I found the cure. Pop a viagra like an hour before you drop the E, and you can go all night, AND achieve results over and over and over and over.......and over again. I'm a male. A low to medium dose always made sex more fun for me. It has to be the kind of dose that just brings you into euphoria though...not passed it and into nodding, extreme drowsiness, etc, my DOC is OC and the energy boost it gave me at first was always a good thing to get me going. The ability to essentially go forever, up until the point I decide I want to finish, always seemed like a good thing to me, although girls tend to get sore that way if you wait too long.

The whole problem for me is this line between just enough OC to reach euphoria, but not go into nod territory is so fine, and even the difference between attempting sex on the way up to the peak, and not the way down, often caused problems for me. If i did too much, or if i was more towards the end of my high when i started getting super tired, I'd have problems with loss of adequate sensation to keep things going, especially if it wasn't like Jack-Rabbit Slims constantly, and of course that never bodes well with the ladies, because they're going to think they didn't turn you on enough or something, especially if it's a girl who's never tried opiates herself, and doesn't know the side-effects.... and doesn't know that i'm using.

So for sex, at the right doses, O can usually be a good thing for me, but for other things like oral, etc, if it's a means to an end, and not just foreplay, always seemed to frustrate girls more than anything when they'd put a good hours work in and not get any return...ha.

For me, when I was first using buprenex, very benign by most standards, I would have a very ahrd time caheiving orgasm, I would often be forced to treat me penis like he stole my stash, but I would get there, as I moved to H and roxi's the H would be a no-go most fo the time, with a rare exception. My mental state that led me down that road in the first place had such a negative impact on my drive to ebgin with that anything remotley sexual or intimate were out the window...

As for the science behind it, I am not 100% sure as this is econd hand dime-store junky science but I think it has something to do wit hthe brain receptors the ones that interpret pain, are the same ones that interpret pleasure?? so when taking an opiate they kind of screw them up...

When I first starting using I could get it up, and it took a lot longer than normal - maybe 30 minutes. That slowly progressed to about an hour (the longest my wife would go). The longer I used, it became that I was unable to get off at all - even after a steady cycle of sucking, fucking, and rubbing lasting hours - no go. Towards the last year of my use, I was completely unable to even get a hard on. After getting on bupe, I still can't get it up - I "fear" (if that's the word, sex doesn't hold a great appeal to me) that it's something permanent. I now require at least 10-15mg of levitra to get it up for more than a few seconds, and it doesn't always stay hard (it usually does ;-) ). With the cost of levitra ($20 for 20mg - FROM THE PHARMACY, WITH A SCRIPT) a drug habit is nearly as cheap and a hell of a lot more fun than sex. On another note: no wonder there are so many teenage pregnancies today. Condoms are nearly a buck a pop, even for the cheap ones.. upwards of $6 a pop for the lambskins. For that price, who the fuck would have (safe) sex? (Safe) Sex ain't worth a dollar. Let the teenies buy a Perc 10 for $5-6 and get off on that.

I know right? 45-50 minutes seems to be perfect for us. I get really into it and get going great and she can come once really hard or three-four times in succession that builds up and is just as satisfying, but if you throw the opiate equation within 6 maybe 7 hours then it's useless for me. I *can* get off when fully opiated (controlled release and BT meds), but I really have to work for it. i gotta disagree with the folks who say the type of opiate and ROA don't matter (taking into account we all got different brain chemistry/metabolism, etc); for a good maybe half a year, snorting a moderate amount of oxy was like a bit of a stimulant and intensified orgasms. i don't know if they were better than those i'd have if i didn't have a habit, i can't remember, but they were a lot better than a normal dope-impaired jizz.

I've heard of people tryin that, but never done it myself. I gotta admit, even with all this shit I've tried I think I'd be afraid to take Viagra and E haha! Considering that I'm young and in good health, I don't know how Viagra would affect me, possibly being harmful unless I took a really small dose. I have been warned to that effect from others. Plus with E being a stimulant of sorts, I would be afraid the increased metabolism/bloodflow would make it even more dangerous.

If anyone is farmiliar with the pharmacology involved I'd be interested to hear it.
But yeah, I have heard people have done it with good results. I may try it yet...

If there's a decent level of a full-on agonist inside me, coming is out of the question. If love-making and opiates happen to coincide, I usually have to resign myself to spending most of my time "down south."

If, however, there is a partial agonist like buprenorphine on board, well hell, I have the energy to perform better than normal, and coming is delayed (which is a good thing :)) but it WILL come.

I'd often take a low dose of bupe ~15min to an hour before the GF came over, just for that purpose.
