Dreams while on Dope

Does anyone else find it easier to have lucid dreams while on dope vs while not on dope? SWIM loves his dreams on dope as SWIM has never had a lucid dream when completely clean.

Do I, I can't believe some of them. I was in Jurassic Park the other night horseback riding and when the horse and I were being attacked to save us both from velociraptors that were gaining on us I took off flying. Then I was the hero by distracting the raptors from the horse and then teaching others to fly that were trapped. Awesome dream.

On some opioids I have a hard time sleeping... usually on H I can't fall asleep and when I go on a 3 or 4 day binge I don't get any sleep those nights. Hydrocodone and morphine I can get some very lucid and heavy dreams.

It's this state where I find it easiest to start to control it. As soon as I realize that it's in my head I can sort of guide where it will go next. I don't really have FULL control and sometimes I don't even realize it's not reality but I think this is the first step to controlling it completely.

I get really bad sleep paralysis when I am abusing my meds because I wake up every night between 2-4 to take a fat dose, then I nod off and have to get up around 10 am, so I only sleep 2-3 hours a night. After weeks of this the sleep paralysis and lucid dreaming gets really intense. To the point where I don't want to sleep...

I dont do heroin, but I have the most weirdest and craziest dreams that are opioid induced, and they're so real sometimes, I remember every detail. Sometimes I'll wake up and spend the whole day thinking about my dreams, as some of them seem to come out of nowhere. I usually really love my freams, except for the ones where my kids are being hurt. And as stated above, I've had a few dreams about Jurrasic Park too, where I'm hiding from T-rex. I actually have a journal in my nightstand and I'll quickly write down notes about my dreams, cause I really feel that some of them would make an awesome movie or video game someday.


And I'm pretty sure they're medication/opioid induced, they just have to be as I dont remember having dreams in such details before my habbit started.

When I am kicking or have tapered and cut back a lot on my dose, I have REM rebound. I find opiates to very much like marijuana in this way.

qft, i recently quit my doc's (oxycodone, hydromophone, oxymorphone IV) and got back on suboxone,
and i am having major rem rebound dreams that are just so vivid and real i wake up thinking im still in
the dream with the same emotions and situatuions my mind manifests, its awkward at times when im
dreaming about stashing a huge bottle of 80's in my desk and i jump out of bed and go look for it :(

I can't recall any dreams I have had on dope..however, when clean I do get some drug dreams and usually the yare the type where I have drugs of the opiod nature, but no rig, or I have a rig and drugs, but I know I have to wait to do it casue I need to get the sub out of my system...wouldn;t that cpunt as a nightmare then??

i will absolutely not dream while opiated. when kicking or in rehab (i've been in four this summer,) i will infrequently have drug dreams. the most common of which have me trying to stick myself and my skin turning into some sorta trampoline like substance whenever the pressure of a spike is applied. the less common version is that i'll get a spike in, but cannot register or do register then wake up. more commonly, however, are dreams of loves past. the dreams are fantastic... waking up is the problem. i'll generally just be laying in bed with a girl whom i thought i loved long ago enjoy their touch and then i wake up in some sort of institution. not only am i disheartened by the emotions i still feel for this person, but also when i think a bit deeper and realize where i am... a place where i'm told when and where i can smoke, when i can piss and when i can or can't sleep. i start to realize my insanity.
