two questions

1) is the "supply and resource" group no more?

cause it's gone off my user profile and I know I was pretty much out for a week or so a couple times lately and may have missed big doin's round here :D

2) when we send an email from the forum to another member through the system here, and we have our options set to save sent messages, are those emailed messages supposed to be saved as well?

Just a heads up to everyone, even long time folks may not be aware...you may want to edit to disallow "v card download" as most people here signed up with their real birthdates and some with not so private email addresses (like using at least part of their real name in their yahoo account, etc..)...

I downloaded a few cards and when I mentioned birthdays to two different people they thought I was a stalker or worse a narco spy or something, I'm certain! Until I explained, of course...:cool:

1) The supply & resource group is no more. Rather, these forums are only available to registered members. We didn't see any reason to require an additional step beyond registration in order to view these. Without registration, one doesn't know they even exist. This includes search engine spiders.

2) No, this is only for PM's. Emailed messages are sent out from the system in your name to the recipient. That's it. They're not stored here.

3) Vcards - I've been doing some upgrades, had to enable all of their fields, and I imagine you were grabbing vcards at the same time I was making changes. To be honest, I didn't think anyone would even try and use them at that time (lucky me.) Birthdays have never been and will never be viewable by anyone other than myself and are only used to verify age. They're not viewable even by the mods nor are they contained in your user profile.

Just to be safe, I've gone ahead and deleted the vCard feature altogether. Birthdays were not traditionally stored in vcards.

hiphoppopotomus hows it going? i am still trying to learn my way around this place. It almost sounds like you are running this show. So far i like it, do i stay logged in until i sign out or shut down my computer? And does anyone know where i can get some downloadable dope sick love vid's? Sorry i have one more. How do i send messages. to other users?

My computer stays logged on until I reboot. Sending msgs (I think you have to have a certain number of post before you can) and all that information is found in the FAQ. There a link to it at the top. Good read if your not familiar with this type of board.
