I changed it back, saved it in user options and it STILL blanks it out!

No email notifies on pms OR new thread posts for over two weeks,
and now my user options are screwed up
and I can't edit that "*****" asterisk part that suddenly appeared of its own volition
to read "forum" anymore...?

Weird shit - I just changed it back, too, and it looks fine. I setup a test user with the same rights as you, changed it to the same, and it works ok for me?

WTF? You've had that up there for quite some time, yes?

I can't figure out the missing notifications - things look to be working fine - can you send on some specific notifications that you're not getting?

ok, i found the problem there, although I have no idea why it wasn't doing that from the start. I had a parameter set to keep folks from using the words 'admin' 'moderator' and 'forum' in their title. Why it worked for so long, I have no idea. Either way, fixed now. Sorries.

thanks for changing it back...i really thought I was beyond any mental help when I "fixed" it back to "forum" this morning and BAM it was right back to being ***** censored the frig outta there AGAIN....

I imagine what happened is that because i'm the admin, me changing it was ok, but perhaps recently you went in to that page and changed another option (probably your mail notifications) and it decided to fuck with your title, as well....
