How many have had an experience with Palladone?

Hey all, I am sorry if this has been covered before. I utfse and but couldn't find a decent thread about this. Anyway, palladone was only on the market from feb of '05 to july 13 of '05 and approx. 11,500 patients were prescribed it. I was wondering have any of you had experience with this drug.

I figured that with such a high-dosage pill there would be new non-iv consumer who could use this drugs who wouldn't bother with dilaudid. So if you've had this drug at anytime let us know how it was.:)

In Canada we have Hydromorph Contin. I am currently prescribed 12 mg twice daily. Orally it really sucks, but I usually crush up the little balls and snort them. I find it works quite well that way. IV users really like these pills because there is nothing in the beads other than the hydromorph .So apparently they are really clean. ( I know they are not the same as palladone but similar though)

There is a canadian on here that gets Palladone or he used to get it. I haven't seen him on here in a while but maybe he will chime in. It is just a name brand version of extended release hydromorphone. Another is HydromorphContin, made by---guess who!!!

Through the late fifties there was 16, 32 or 64 mg doses of instant release hydromorphone.

palladon(e) is also available in germany.
i had them twice so far. the first time was really euphoric,
snorted only 4-6 mg without tolerance. overall one of the best opiate
experiences so far.
the other time was 24mg snorted while on 25mg l-methadone,
felt nothing from it.

i would advise against shooting it, afaik they contain wax plus it
would be way too much powder. just snort or plug it.

They are quite available if you live near the Canadian border. M&M red capsules. We call them "HMC's" for short. Fairly cheap also.

Wow, guys I sure wished I lived near the canadian border!. And dharma bum- are you serious about the hydro in the late 50's? Thats is insane! I find the topic of pharmacueitcals in the 50's 60's and 70's to be very fascinatiing. I have done a lot of searching to get info on what it was like back then but can't seem to find anything. I always wondered what kinds of opiates/dosages were available before the controlled substance act of 1970?

Thats great news though, to hear that extended-release hydromorphone is available throughout the world. I had my first experience with IV and Hydromorphone both yesterday. I have about a 320mg oxy tolerance and I did a 32mg shot of hydro and let me say, it changed my life!
