Opiates make me feel like I am in a warm fuzzy blanket smothered in love and happiness.

Opiates make me feel like someone's massaging the back of my head/neck/brainstem ... almost as if they're reaching into my neck and gently massaging under my skull where it meets my spine (the hinge). While this is going on there's sunlight gently touching all of my skin, whatever happens it'll all be ok.

Opiates, specifically oxycodone, make me euphoric and energetic. I love everyone, I chatter and chatter - actually it's a bit like hypomania. I used to have a very clean home because I loved to pop several percocets on a weekend and clean clean clean!
Suboxone makes me feel dull and without motivation. I sometimes get moments of euphoria - last night, out of the blue, my 6 mg dose made me feel really happy. Weird ass drug, that suboxone.

let's see...nauseous, irritable, tired, stupid, disoriented, PISSED that i don't feel as good as i used to, and PISSED that i keep doing it anyway. i think that's called DYSphoria and DENIAL. :rolleyes:

i think maybe my tolerance is so high that i'm getting a bunch of amplified negative side effects that are drowning out all the good effects...ahh the good ol' days when i used to pop a percocet or three and bask in warm fuzzy joy... those days are long gone...

I feel warm all over like a bright sun is constantly shining on me but its not hot, or uncomfortable exactly the opposite its like im in the warm glow of heaven. im sitting here with a nice smile on my face in complete bliss at the moment just trying to soak every wave of euphoria up and not miss a minute of it. I love the feeling to much probably more than i should haha ahh im gonna go get some food now peace.

same here. once i had to move to the realm of chronic pain management, the happy-glow part just faded away. no high. no euphoria, except that tiny little "lift" that lasts for MAYBE half an hour after a dose when i can afford to take a little extra. then it's just a slight relief of some of the pain.
