Should I peel the wax off of these as I would an oxycontin? I haven't tried to peel the coating off yet, just been crushing them with the wax still on. I don't mind it but if it can come off like an OC I would surely remove it.

Why not? pop em in your mouth for a few sec and dissolve them, thats what i do with all my pills, if your shootin them tho i would advise against that just get some rubbing alcohol and a qtip and rub it off.

Yeah that's what I do with OCs. When I first got them I was just so excited to score opana and it was very cheap so I crushed it up and snorted it without even thinking about taking the wax off.

i find that the coating removes just as an oxy, if you dont peel it, most of the time youll just end up blowing it out as a big clump or swallowing it
will this be ur first time trying opana?
i feel as thow the feeling doesn't come on as fast but it has longer legs even when crushed.

you cant shoot the ER's they'll jell up, unless some one know away around it. i love to know..

Yeah, it's my first time using opanas. They are easily my top opie now. I've never experienced a rush from snorting any drug but railing 5mgs hit me in a min or two and I was pleasantly surprised.

i think it more of a body high so to say.

oh theres ways around it man, it just takes a lil chemistry knowledge and the right equipment which 90% of us do not have...

I'd say 5mgs = an OC40. The high is also extremely uplifting and promotes empathy.

sham my buddy, if you think those ER's are awesome, wait till you can get the pink IR 10mg's, those are the greatest fucking pill in the world IMO,i have such fond memories of insuffulating 20-30mg's then eating a high fat meal.

Hopefully I'm going to be getting five of those 10mg IRs and a couple 8mg dillies.

To remove the coating, do NOT suck on them - use a razor - if you suck on them they'll glob up a little making it hard to snort them.

i have no prob removing the coating, suck on it for a couple seconds. and hit it wit a wash cloth.
just about as easy as an oxy.

I've suddenly been reading about oxymorphone for the first time ever the last day or so, and idk if maybe i always read about it but just didn't really think twice about what it was, but now I really want to try ugh.

My DOC was always oxycodone, also enjoying hydrocodone, but never having had that in larger doses, and only a few occaisons. Those are my only full agonists under my belt, and this opana....sounds amazing to me.

And to answer the OP question, if you can scratch it off with your finger nail and it doesn't seem to remove any of the inner pill, I'm sure it's fine and probably better to remove it.

There is no wax to peel off. It is just a coating. The wax in OxyContin is throughout the entire pill. The oxycodone is encapsulated in the wax (which takes time to be dissolved in your stomach), which is why crushing defeats the controlled-release mechanism -- crushing breaks up the wax and allows the oxycodone to be absorbed quickly.

Good to know. I just call the coating wax because it looks/feels like wax.
