So from what I have read...the half-life of Oxycodone is anywhere between 2.5-4 hours. I am guessing this is based off of oral use?

Does anyone have any idea if the half-life is shorter via any other ROA? Such as IV'ing?

I am simply asking because of re-dose possibilities, and keeping myself at a safe dose inside my system at all times...but lately I have been in so much god damn pain, that I want to re-dose a little more often, but I was hoping that the half-life was reduced a bit when IV'ed?

It seems like the half-life should be shorter, since you are starting off immediately with peak plasma levels instead of metabolising it over the course of th the absorption time

As others have stated, the half-life is indeed shorter but your tolerance grows faster because the peak is. more intense and you are redosing earlier. This then leads to w/d's presenting faster.

With high bioavailability opis, oral pays off in the long run. But I understand where you're coming from.

I suggest a compromise and go part oral and part IV.

Half Life and IV'ing? Fuck yes, dope and video games FTW!

On a more serious note, yeah the duration is shorter with IV.

Hey sorry to bump this thread, but I wanted to just kinda get this out there again, in case anybody else had any input, and maybe even some numbers or anything. I can't find ANYTHING about this on the internet, at ANY site...so I was hoping maybe I could shoot again and catch some other people who might know?

Sorry for the bump, I am just really interested in this...and so is my safety.
