Swim has really bad anxiety. He takes klonopin 1mg morning, .5mg lunch, and .75mg late evening. The reason for weird doses is because Swim is tapering, although he's been at that dose amount for over a month now. Swim also takes anywhere from 5-8 blues (150mg - 240mg) a day. Swim has always had panic attacks, minor heart palps. from time to time, etc. But since he's been taking these higher doses (he's been at this level for the past 3 weeks or so, prior to that took about 3.5-5 blues a day), hes been experiencing heart palps. almost always upon standing up after sitting for a while, almost always when he gets anxious, and just plain out of the blue sometimes. Anyone else experience similar side effects and is it a major issue?

I have NOT experienced anything like that. Are you using ANYTHING else? OTC cold medicines, stuff like that, herbs? The increased palpitations when standing MIGHT be related to being a little dehydrated, which can lead to lower blood pressure, and then when you stand, your body compensates for the further drop in BP by increasing your heart rate. Along with the increased HR comes increased palpitations.
As long as you are not experiencing chest pain or light headedness with these palps, they are probably just related to your w/d/increased anxiety.
If you get chest pain or lightheaded - must see doc ASAP.
